Triplets on Secret Mission novel Chapter 195

Chapter 195

Molly stuffed the medicine into Sean’s mouth. She then helped him up and handed him a glass of water.

Sean, on the other hand, furrowed his brows. He felt like all his strength had been sapped out that he could barely hold the glass while drinking the water. The medicine was indeed bitter, so bitter that the taste filled his mouth.

“Lay him back down.”

Tony listened to Molly’s instructions. He laid Sean down on the bed.

“You should go rest. Tomorrow will be another busy day. If you fall ill from fatigue, I’ll charge. you a higher fee, ” Molly spoke to Tony with her head lowered as she was about to give Sean a needle treatment. She was well aware that aside from taking care of Sean, Tony had to oversee Sean’s company for him as his assistant. If there were any issues, Tony had to take care of them.

Tony knew what she meant and did not want to add more trouble to her already filled plate.” Alright. Please call me when there’s anything you need. I’ll be in the room next to my boss.”

After she completed the needle treatment, only then did Molly realize Sean was asleep. As she put away the needles, she thought, ‘He looks pretty exhausted. Luckily, it’s just a common cold, and his fever isn’t high.’

However, she did not leave the room. ‘Well, somebody needs to stay to check on him.’

Therefore, Molly stayed up in the room to look after him.

The next morning– Sean’s fever had completely subsided. The moment he was awake, he was slightly startled when he found Molly beside his bed, and their eyes met.

Molly’s mouth twitched as she saw that. She did not feel like talking because her mind was tired. Instead, she returned to her room right after she got up.

Sean helped himself up. He sat on the bed alone for a long while before calling for Tony.

“Boss, are you feeling better?” “I’m feeling alright,” said Sean in a wheelchair Tony was pushing. “That’s great. Thank god we have Ms. May. The breakfast is ready. I’ll call for her to join you,” said Tony while pushing the wheelchair to the bathroom so Sean could wash himself. However, Sean stopped Tony. “There’s no need for that. Let her get some sleep,” he said flatly.

After pondering a bit, Tony nodded. “You’re right. She stayed up late. We should let her get some sleep.”

In the bathroom, Sean was spacing out while looking at himself in the mirror. He knew that Molly had stayed up for him the whole night until he woke up. After having his breakfast, Sean spoke to Tony, who was packing up luggage for him, “Book

the room next to ours.” Sean’s words surprised Tony because they were supposed to get themselves ready to leave the hotel. However, Sean canceled the plan because he did not want to leave Molly alone in the hotel.

“What’s the matter?”

“Call those bunch from the subsidiary to meet me here instead,” said Sean. Tony stopped packing and did what he was told.

In the afternoon, Molly woke up to the voice calling her and vaguely saw a man near her bed. “What’s up?” she asked in a soft voice. Unlike her usual indifferent tone, it sounded gentle and sweet.

She rested her head on the soft pillow, her hair slightly messy, her eyes shut after blinking a few times, as though she would fall back into her sleep again. Sean kept his composure and averted his gaze away from her. He somehow found Molly cute when she was acting this way.

“It’s late. You skipped breakfast. You should have your lunch now.”

‘Isn’t that Sean’s voice? I thought he was still sick, “Molly thought with her eyes shut, her mind still groggy. She opened her right eye a mere slit and placed her hand on Sean’s forehead.

‘Good. His fever is gone,’ said Molly in her mind with her eye shut again. Feeling glad, she retracted her hand and wanted to return to her slumber.

Sean, on the other hand, was startled, his mind flustered. He looked at the groggy lady on the bed. Apparently, her head was not clear. So, his ruffled mind settled down a little.
