Triplets on Secret Mission novel Chapter 196

Chapter 196

When Molly was about to fall asleep, the thought of Sean suddenly came into her mind. ‘Sean?!’ Molly opened her eyes instantly and sat up straight. Their gaze met, her chest slightly heaving. She looked rather surprised.

Only when she recalled Sean was there to inform her of lunchtime did she regain her composure. “I was just checking if you still had a fever.”

Sean landed his gaze on Molly’s dry lips. Despite the serious look on her face, she spoke in a gentle and sweet voice. He felt she had an innocent look. At the thought of it being his first time seeing this side of her, he could not help but curl his lips.

Before taking his leave, Sean turned and said, “You should get up and wash. Lunch is ready downstairs.”

The two were having lunch together. Suddenly, Molly recalled something. “I thought you had to go out today.”

Sean’s face remained the same when he replied, “I’ve brought my work here since I’m afraid I would feel unwell again.”

The hospital in Northfolk– The triplets felt bored at home since Molly was with Sean. Hence, they decided to pay Brycen a visit, thinking that he must be feeling bored from having to stay in the hospital alone.

When Brycen received a phone call from the triplets, he happily said yes to them and asked Russell to take them to the hospital.

Brycen’s room in the hospital was no longer drab with the cute and lovely triplets there. Many nurses and doctors there liked to play with them. Some had even given them treats. They had become even more attentive to Brycen.

In the afternoon, Lara came to visit her son. The time she arrived at the door, she heard the noise from the room.

When she opened the door and realized it was Molly’s children, she gave them the cold shoulder and sounded displeased as she said, “For God’s sake, where are your manners? Don’t you know this is a hospital, and you shouldn’t make noise?” “My son is a patient. How could the three of you play in his bed?” Her questions immediately silenced the room.

The triplets were obedient. They got off Brycen’s bed, thinking that Lara was Brycen’s mother and that Molly had always taught them to respect others when they were outside.

Brycen frowned upon seeing Lara. His face turned from joy to indifference. “Mom, there was no need for you to say that. You are too much! They were just kids!” “What if they make your leg injury worse?” Lara’s unfriendly gaze swept past the triplets.’ These brats have no manners. They are as unruly as those kids in the countryside!’

“That won’t happen. We’ve been very careful,” said Alex immediately.

Lara got even more annoyed as she felt that he was talking back at her. She asked in an aggressive manner, “What is that happens? Or you can guarantee it won’t happen?” Alex and his siblings felt wronged being reprimanded. They had been cautious, doing their best to avoid contact with their uncle’s leg.

Brycen’s face turned slightly grave. He took the triplets’ side because he felt that they were obedient and well-mannered.

He found his mother unreasonable and her hostility unacceptable. “You’ve been nothing but fierce at the kids. They are your grandchildren!” yelled Brycen indifferently.

Lara said with a mockery, “They aren’t my grandchildren but b*stards. The May family has never recognized them.”

Not only did she scold them, but she also insulted

Lara’s words deeply offended the Molly.

“We aren’t b*stards!” the triplets retorted the next second. Brycen could not help to scowl. “Mom, be mindful with your words when speaking before children!” he reprimanded Lara.
