Chapter 203

The triplets became disappointed as they listened to Sean. ‘It was such a great opportunity. How could nothing happen at all…’

‘Is it mommy or daddy’s problem?

Molly and Grandpa Dave was looking at them at the side. She felt a lot better after seeing the smiles on the triplets’ faces. Nobody knew how much she loved the triplets.

Sean’s chef made an extra sumptuous meal that night.

It was true that nice food could make somebody feel better. The triplets knew that better than anybody else that night as they were very satisfied with the meal.

“Is there any particular time that the chef would be here?” Ben thought of coming over to leech for food.

Tony threw a glance at him, and he chuckled, “Don’t worry, all of you are more than welcomed to come over for free food.”

“Come on, Uncle Tony. You didn’t have to be so straightforward.” Ben pouted, and he was a little embarrassed. He looked very adorable.

“Uncle Tony, no wonder you’re still single,” Alex made fun of him happily. He was already feeling a lot better.

“Right. Acting like this is not going to get you a girlfriend,” Claudia chimed in. Everybody was having a laugh at the dining table. Molly let the triplets “bully” Tony as she saw how much fun they were having. She was readied to back them up.

“Eh, eh. Why are we talking about this again? Ms. Molly, are you just going to do nothing?” Tony complained. He would always ask Molly to do something, but all Molly did was always nothing. How could he not complain? It felt like the triplets were born just to hurt his feelings. Sigh! Tony took a sip of the pumpkin soup. He let it slide for the sake of the delicacies. Sean lifted the side of his lips. “Feel free to come over anytime.”

He and Tony would always go next door for free food too, so it would only be courteous for them to do the same.

The triplets were delighted after hearing what Sean said, They and their great-grandpa could finally have nice food to eat if Molly was not around!

However, everybody looked frowny at the dining table of the May family. The problems that their company was already facing had gotten even bigger because of what happened. Nathan took a few bites absent-mindedly. He was so troubled that he did not feel like eating.” I’m done. I’m going back to the office now.” He pushed the chair back before standing up. Then, somebody came in from the door suddenly.

“Mr. May, Mrs. May, good evening.” Adam greeted the couple before nodding to Nathan. The three of them were confused. They did not know the reason why Adam was there.

“Have you eaten? Come eat something if you haven’t.” Walter said unheedingly as he was not in the mood to welcome him

Adam sat down, and he noticed how worried they were. “Thank you, Mr. May. I’ve eaten. I’ll cut to the chase since our family had known each other for so long.”

Nathan, who was about to leave, sat back down after hearing what Adam said while Walter and Lara lifted their heads to look at him too.

“I know that the May Group is facing an emergency now, so I’ve talked to my parents. We decided that we should do something to help the May family. We want to help the May Group to get through this.” Adam sounded very sincere as he said that. He continued, “However, we hope that the May family can make the engagement between Molly and me happen again.” Nathan was shocked. ‘It’s Molly again!’

He was really afraid of hearing that name. Nothing nice would happen whenever her name was brought up.

However, he had a second thought as he asked with a frown, “What do you mean by that? Are you going to betray Diana? Don’t you know how much Diana loves you after spending so many years with her? Are you not worried that he might do something to hurt herself again?”

That was what Walter and Lara wanted to ask him as well. Their faces did not look very happy as they looked at Adam. They watched Diana grow up, after all. How could Adam say that he was going to help them but also say that he wanted to marry Molly the moment after? They knew that he only did that because he wanted the company shares that Molly had! However, Adam said, “I’ve talked to Diana about this already. We’re going to part ways peacefully.”

Actually, he did not want to take advantage of the May family like this either. However, that was the only chance the Herring Family could recover the engagement with Molly, so they had to seize it.
