Unrivaled Dragon Lord novel Chapter 92

Harriet could not keep her mind clear. Unconsciously, her white and delicate hands reached Maxwell's belt...

Although she was born beautiful and well-kept and was better looking than some girls in their twenties, Harriet was a mature and charming young woman. She had an instinctive desire for this kind of thing.

"Well..." Harriet let out a long breath, her beautiful eyes showed a determined look, as if she was ready for it.

Suddenly, there was a series of loud knocks on the door of the car and Maxwell and Harriet were taken aback.

Maxwell looked over his shoulder and saw a traffic cop standing outside the window.

Maxwell was stunned! 'Shit! Why the police came here to disturb us?'

Even Harriet was angry when she saw the police.

Harriet was all prepared for it, and then was interrupted!

Maxwell gritted his teeth and pulled open the window. The traffic policeman saluted and said gravely, "Sir, the road is under construction and you can't stop here. Please go ahead and stop if you have something to deal with."

"Got it," Maxwell sighed and nodded.

The traffic policeman glanced at Harriet, who was clutching her messy clothes and looked flushed. He seemed to understand what had happened and said, "Sorry to bother you."

After the cop left, Maxwell looked at Harriet and said, "What should we do?"

"Don't ask me!" Harriet grunted, sorted out her clothes and said, "Let's go. Greta's going back to her mother's."

Maxwell wondered. "Going back to her mother's?"

Harriet nodded. "She told me herself that she was going to find her father and calm down for a while."

Maxwell smiled wryly. "She's still mad at me. It's a mistake..."

"The pictures she got were of you and the woman entering the hotel. Who knows what you were doing in there?" Harriet snorted. "Maybe you've done everything."

"We just played cards with her friends. If you don't believe me, I can ask her friends to prove it," Maxwell explained with a wry smile.

"Are you lying?" Harriet looked at Maxwell.

"Do I have to lie?" asked Maxwell, and Harriet pondered for a moment." So, someone is setting you up?"

"Greta told me someone has sent her an anonymous envelope," Harriet said. Maxwell's eyes narrowed.

"An anonymous envelope?" Maxwell's eyes were cold. He knew who was setting him up.

It couldn't be anyone else. Andreas met him in a bar during the day!

Only Andreas could have come up with such a vicious plan.

"I know who did it," Maxwell spoke slowly, his eyes brightened up.

That guy was really annoyed.

"No one is at home, you mean?" Maxwell blinked, as if he understood Harriet's point.

"What are you thinking of?" Harriet gave him a charming look. "Leila's at home."

"She's weak." Maxwell pursed his lips.

"But she's very cleaver. She can hear anything." Harriet shook her head. Leila used to come from China's special forces. Although her skill was temporarily weakened by the injury, she was still very sensitive in hearing.

Sitting by the bed of Derrick's mansion, Greta looked out the window at the dark night blankly.

"What's going on?" A soft voice came from the bedroom door. Greta turned to see Derrick standing by the bedroom door with a cup of hot milk in his hand.

"Dad," Greta said softly.

"Tell me what happened," Derrick said.

Greta had mixed feelings in her heart and said a lot. After a long time, Derrick looked out the window at the bright moonlight and sighed, "Greta, some things are so complicated that you can't tell right from wrong."

"Dad, I just want to know why you and Grandpa don't want me to divorce that guy." Greta suddenly got up and asked coldly in a harsh tone.

Derrick turned around and looked into Greta's deep eyes. What could he tell Greta? How could he possibly tell Greta? He didn't even know why.

This was known only to Absalom, whom he had asked, but Absalom had not told him.

"All I can tell you, Greta, is that you are not a victim in this marriage. You may have been wronged, but only your grandfather knows that. You know... Your grandfather wouldn't harm you..." Derrick sounded solemn.

"He won't harm me? So how did we get evicted by the Sandoval family in Beijing? Where was he at the time?" With a cold look, Greta picked up her bag, stepped on her high-heeled shoes and rushed out of the bedroom. The sound of high-heeled shoes echoed in the corridor, making Derrick sigh.

"What's the matter?" A graceful woman walked in and took hold of Derrick.

"She's still haggling over the past. She can't let go of those memories." Derrick sighed, pulled out his cell phone, and made a phone call.

The BMW pulled up to the door and Maxwell and Harriet walked inside.

Upon entering the villa, Maxwell's mobile phone rang. Maxwell took out his mobile phone, and it was from a stranger.

"Hello?" When Maxwell answered the phone, a deep voice sounded, "Maxwell, Greta had quarrels with me. She now had left. Has she come back to you?"

"No," Maxwell said. "Did she have a quarrel with you too?"

"Her mood is not too stable recently. It is midnight now. I am afraid she would be in danger," Derrick added worriedly.

"It'll be all right. I'm going to find her now." Maxwell hung up and said to Harriet, "She and Derrick had a fight, too. I don't know where she's going. I'm going to find her."

"I'll come with you," Harriet said.

"Stay at home. If she comes home, you must stop her from running away again," Maxwell said, and rushed out of the house toward the garage.

Soon after, a black Maybach pulled out from the garage and hurtled off down the road...

On a sidewalk in Ocean City, a beautiful woman walked alone on the road. A pair of delicate high heels stepped on the shadow, making a lonely sound.

Greta walked slowly on the road. The night wind was very cold, and she only wore a thin coat. The cold wind whistled by, and Greta kept shivering.

Greta was at a loss, and she didn't know where to go... She was upset by what had happened in the Sandoval family recently. After seeing Maxwell and Isadora hanging out together, she was more annoyed. She hated Isadora. She could feel from the pictures that that woman was pretty coquettish.

Suddenly, there were a few men getting close behind her.

They rushed to Greta, closer and closer...

Greta didn't know the road was very dangerous. Every night, even tall and strong men would not dare to pass by here, let alone a weak woman like Greta.

The men followed and quickened their pace. Their fiery glares fell on Greta's beautiful shape, with a strong and unconcealed lust!

Greta suddenly slowed down. She seemed to hear a sound. Looking around, she suddenly heard a series of quickening footsteps coming from behind.

Greta turned her head and saw several men in flowery shirts whistling with evil smiles and running after her.

Greta was shocked! She quickly ran away!

But in high heels, she couldn't run fast, so the men were closer to her.

"Beauty, why are you alone in the deep night?"

"Don't run, beauty. We just want to have an in-depth conversation with you."

"Damn, look at her legs." They teased Greta and talked something dirty.

Greta's face turned white, and she panicked even more. She ran as fast as she could, trying with all her strength to get rid of those men.

All of a sudden! Greta stumbled and fell to the ground.

By the time Greta got up, it was too late! She could feel pairs of hands walking recklessly on her, which made her scalp tingling!
