Unspoken Love novel Chapter 20

Ariana wondered, 'Do I regret it?'

She didn't seem to regret it.

At first, she only wanted to get rid of Luna's baby. She thought Brodie would not go so far to keep Luna, a married woman, as his mistress.

Brodie acted like he took revenge on Luna, but in fact, he imprisoned Luna because he was paranoid and the desire for possession got ahold of him. He didn't want to release her at all! Ariana could tell that Brodie was going to keep Luna for a long time, so she joined hands with Jason and plotted to kill Luna.

She was jealous of Luna for everything Luna had.

Her parents were actually Luna's and her husband loved Luna.

Ariana worked so hard but got nothing.

Ariana said bitterly, "You're crazy, Brodie. She betrayed you. Why do you still love her? I'm the one who loves you the most in the world! She abandoned you during your entrepreneurial crisis, the most difficult time for you. And she did that to marry another man! Why are you so obsessed with her? Why?"

"Ariana, if it weren't for Jerry pleading for mercy, you would have suffered like those Southeast Asian whores. Do you know how they died? Each of them died in a different way, but all miserably," Brodie said coldly as if he was having a business negotiation.

Ariana was stupefied and could not believe that Brodie had said this!

Brodie lit a cigarette. His movements were always elegant, and he was as graceful as the yuppies of the last century, but he was ruthless. A wisp of smoke rose up and covered his face. He said flatly, "So I advise you to confess everything at the trial tomorrow."

Ariana was silent for a while.

Then she hammered the table like crazy. She couldn't believe she loved him. She felt the same despair as before when she had found this dignified and noble man loved Luna, and when she had seen him pull Luna to the side of the woods, pick up her hands, press them on the tree trunk, and kiss her affectionately. Brodie did so after a man had come to confess his love to Luna.

At that time, Ariana had been watching him kiss Luna so affectionately and hug her in a domineering manner.

She didn't believe that Brodie loved Luna, and even felt that Brodie did not know her well enough to fall in love with her. As long as Luna was gone, Brodie would change his mind!

But that was not the case!

It had been so many years.

Even though Luna did something so unbearable, Brodie still loved her!

And he put Ariana in jail for her.

Ariana looked at Brodie with tears in her eyes and shook her head. "I don't believe it. Brodie ... you wouldn't do this to me ... It shouldn't be like this."

A glimpse of Brodie's eyes was enough to tell how merciless he was. He took a sip of his cigarette, held it between his fingers, and moved his hand. It was smooth and elegant. He had the magic to make these ordinary movements attractive. "Ariana, no matter what she did to me, it was only between me and her. Even I couldn't do anything to her. How dare you! I've never loved you."

Ariana burst into tears and cried out loudly.

Brodie walked away.

Then he looked back at her.

Ariana was surprised and thought Brodie wanted to say something comforting.

Unexpectedly, he said, "Ariana, I will pay you back for all the harm you did to Luna."

He got plenty of time to do it.

Brodie left.

Ariana suddenly whined behind his back and sounded like cursing him.

"Brodie, you love her so much! She didn't love you back! You're doomed."
