Unwanted Wife novel Chapter 17

Jewel's POV

She is standing in front of the mirror while looking at her whole being.

This is it, no turning back Jewel. You've suffered enough. - she thought to herself

Today is the day Cain and I will be going to Canada. There is no doubt that she will be leaving now, unlike before, that she doesn't want to leave Thunder. Maybe if it wasn't for what happened to them she wouldn't be in this situation now.

She closes her eyes as she remembers the times that she and Thunder were together. She loves her husband so much to the point that she doesn’t even notice that even herself is slowly breaking down.

She gave all her love to the person who doesn't love her at all. She realized that even if you love someone that much, you also need to save for yourself, you need to love yourself more. And now she has decided to leave her husband forever and start on her own again.

He smiled bitterly before taking his small pouch and proceeded to exit her room.

"Oh I thought you changed and you don't want to leave anymore." Cain said

Jewel quickly grabbed the pillow that was on the sofa and threw it on him. "And how did you say that?"

"It's been over an hour! Let's go now before we'll be late on our flight." Cain said and took our baggage.

Jewel just shook her head and followed the young man.

They arrived at the airport just in time. They will just wait 30 minutes before their flight. Jewel just sat quietly while waiting for Cain to come back to check in their luggage.

Jewel just sighed as she looked around. She saw the two lovers talking happily, it looks like they are also going to another country. She could clearly see the great pleasure and love of the two for each other, if only it had been the same for her and Thunder.

She stopped looking at the two couples when someone tapped her on the shoulder.

"You are looking at them, it's like you're going to melt them." Cain laughed

"Oh geez, just shut up!" she said

Cain sat next to her. "Are you not happy that I came back already? Aww, I'm hurt." the guy said

She immediately slapped him on the shoulder. "You're really mean to me! You know what Cain, you don't need to do this. I will be fine alone. You don't need to go to Canada with me. I can manage, they might look for you and your friends will be surprised that you just left without letting them know." I said in a serious tone

"Jew, I've made up my mind. I'll come with you, I won't be in Canada long, I just want to make sure you'll be okay."

I could have done nothing but nod. Knowing Cain won't give up.

After 30 minutes we heard our flight was called. Can and I immediately stood up and walked together.

Before I climbed up in the plane I looked around . I can't quite imagine that the day will come that I will leave this country. I just used to leave for a country only to have a vacation with my parents. Now it's different, I will leave to rebuild myself and I don't know when I will come back or if I will ever come back.

I let out a sigh before finally following Cain who had been waiting inside.

"I thought you changed your mind." he exclaimed as we sat down
