Unwanted Wife novel Chapter 41

Thunder woke up first and just smiled when he saw the girl next to him who was sound asleep. He could not fully imagine that after a few years he would be with his wife again. He knows he has been stupid and he has not treated her well and he deeply regrets it.

Since they got married, his anger has accumulated because he blames Jewel for why he was tied up early and lost being a bachelor. So he promised himself that he would never love her and he would do everything to make her life miserable with him. And he did succeed because of what he did every day and showed it to the girl.

And when his wife left him it was only then that he realized all the wrongs he had done, he thought he would not feel love for the girl but on a daily basis without her presence in their house it was there that he realized how important Jewel is to him.

He also couldn't understand why he treated the girl like that even though they were friends when they were kids, maybe he was just angry about the marriage thing. And now that he has recovered from this he has no plans to let her go. He will do everything for his family.

After a minute Jewel woke up feeling like someone was staring at her and she wasn't mistaken because when she opened her eyes, Thunder's face immediately appeared on her.

"Good Morning wifey," he greeted with a smile

"Good Morning. What time did you wake up?"

"I think it was an hour ago." He answer

The girl immediately got up. "Why didn't you wake me up?"

"You are in deep sleep so I didn't do it and it's okay because the view is beautiful and I had time to stare at you."

"Crazy! I need to go home. I'm sure that Kevin is worried."

"I'll take you home, I'll just shower for a while." he said and stood up

Another hour passed before they finally left Thunder's condo, fortunately there was no traffic so they arrived at Jewel's house quickly.

When Thunder was taking a bath earlier, Jewel's mom called to let them know that they were home, so they will definitely be surprised when Jewel's parents see them together.

Jewel rang the doorbell three times and saw their maid running out. "Good Morning ma'am, sir," she greeted the two.

When they got inside they found Jewel's parents who were sitting and also seemed to be waiting for their arrival. "Where have you been?" Her mother asked as soon as she noticed them.

"We just talked ma, pa and we just fixed our problem." Thunder replied, smiling at the couple.

"It's good that you're doing the right things now so that you can give my grandson a complete family." Jewel's mom sadi

"Jewel, we heard what happened yesterday. Kevin told us." his father suddenly said

"Yes dear, your daddy and I were doubly worried when we found out what happened and it's a good thing that no one got hurt." her mother seconded

Thunder suddenly frowned and looked at Jewel as if asking what her parents meant.

"What happened?" He could no longer bear it and asked 

"You're here Thunder, are you both okay now?" Kevin asked. "Oh Jewel you haven't told Thunder what happened yet?" she faced her cousin

Thunder wondered even more what Jewel's cousin was talking about. Jewel began to talk about what had happened in their house. They could feel Thunder's great concern to find out what had happened. They even talked about what to do before Jewel excused herself to go to her son's room.

As soon as she opened the door, she was greeted by the sharp voice of her son. "Mommy you are back." He even kissed her mom's cheek 

"Good morning baby, I'm sorry if mommy didn't go home, I have something important to take care of."

"It's okay mommy I understand."

Her son even hugged her looking like he still wanted to sleep. He is like this sometimes when he wakes up.

She noticed her son staring at the door so she turned to look at it. "What are you doing here mister?" her son asked

But before Thunder could answer him, he entered the room and smiled at Jewel.

"Don't come near me!" Storm started to cry

"Storm baby, you're a big boy aren't you?" He nodded. "Then, why are you acting like that?

"But he hurts you mommy." child defense while bent over

Jewel immediately touched its little face and faced Thunder. "Baby, he is your father."

He looked at Thunder who was just standing next to them and didn't say a word.

"Even though you said that he is my father, still I will not accept him in my life.," He said directly while looking at his father.

Thunder couldn't stop crying because of what he heard from his own son. It hurts so much for him that her own son does not want to accept him, she thinks that it might be the payment for the mistake she committed against her wife.

Jewel quickly looked at Thunder and she could see the sadness and pain in her eyes. She was about to speak when the young man suddenly left, she called him a few more times but he did not turn around.

She turned her gaze back to her son. "Why did you say that in front of your father Storm? That's bad."

"I'm sorry mommy but I still hate him," the little boy said as he lay down and covered his whole body with blanket

Jewel did nothing and just let the child rest, she didn't want to force their son to accept his father. "Goodnight baby, mommy is going out now. You rest," she said goodbye and saw his son nod

When Jewel got down, she immediately looked for Thunder, she thought at first he had come home but her cousin said that he was in the garden so she quickly went there and saw him sitting while bowing.

"T-thunder?" he called it but the man remained silent.

"I'm sorry for what happened earlier," she began as she sat down next to the young man.

"H-he hates me, m-my own son h-hates me," He whispered weakly

"I think this is the payment for the mistake I have done to you, my own son's hatred towards me. And I know that even you are talking to me I know that you have not forgiven me completely and I understand that," he added, which made Jewel even more guilty

She held Thunder's hand. "Actually I'm still angry with you, there's still hatred in my heart even though you explained your side. The wound healed but the scar is still there. I've suffered so much Thunder, I almost got crazy and Cain knows that. I went through many medications and doctors just to get well and when we went to Canada I did something that I deeply regret. When I found out I was pregnant I almost had an abortion and Cain came, he was angry. I don't want to be unfair, but I don't want to force Storm about this matter, she is only 4 years old. And I also want to apologize because I know this is my fault why the storm is angry with you."

Thunder looked at her. "It's not your fault, whatever is happening now I deserve it because of all the pain I gave to you. But I will not give up even if Storm repeatedly pushes me away I will accept." He said in a serious tone

"Storm inherited stubbornness from you. " She joked, "Everything will be alright in time," She added with a smile.
