Unwanted Wife novel Chapter 47

Monique's steps were quick, she felt so much pain because of what the young man had done to her. She went back to the counter and ordered a drink, she had nothing else now but to get drunk. She was right to drink her order when suddenly someone snatched it.

"What! That's mine, you can order yours." she shouted and grabbed the glass.

"Go home now Monique, it's too late," Cain insisted

"Leave me alone, I can manage to go home."

"Don't be stubborn, go home now." he said and quickly pulled her out of the bar.

"Let me go!"

"Come home, don't make any scene here."

"Am I? I've already left your table right? I'm not getting myself into trouble now, so leave me alone!"

"And what do you think you did there? Isn't that a scene?" 

The girl laughed heartily. "So it's my fault. You want me to just let that woman say those trashful words, is that so?"

"She can't say that to you if you didn't come in our table. She is only asking but what did you do? You were the first to say bad things to her. Grow up Monique!" Cain shouted

Tears welled up in her eyes because of what Cain had said. She could not answer what the man said because she felt something stuck in her throat.

"Go home now and rest," he said gently and turned away.

But before he could turn back and walk away Monique suddenly hugged him. "C-cain, are you still angry at me?"

The young man sighed and pulled away from the girl's embrace. "What do you think? I'm avoiding you Monique, I'm doing everything to avoid you, because every time I see you all the pain comes back to me because of all the things you did."

"W-we can fix this r-right? I know what I did was wrong, but I can still change."

"I don't know, because now I don't know if I can still trust you. You choose what situation we have, you ruined us. And I don't know if I can trust you, because every time I see you I always remember how you betrayed us, how you betrayed me." Cains seriously said

Monique almost cried but she didn't care, she needed to talk to Cain now.

"Can I ask you a favor? Please don't come near me anymore. The wound is still fresh and I don't want to see you." he added and then turned around but the girl quickly grabbed his arm

"C-cain please stay, y-you still love me don't you?" She is now begging

Cain closed his eyes tightly and took Monique's hand and removed it from his arm and walked away.

Monique was left speechless as she stared at the receding figure of the man she loved. She can't express how painful she was feeling right now because she already got the answer. Cain doesn't want to see her anymore. Maybe she should accept the fact that this is the end of their story.

Monique got up and got in her car, there was no reason for her to stay in this place because she might get hurt even more.

Little did she know that when she got in her car Cain followed him. Even though they weren't okay he was still worried for the girl, he didn't want to hurt her and didn't answer her question, but this was the only way he could do to prevent the girl from hurting. He didn't want them to have a conversation nor to see each other again because he might get hurt even more, he needs to be okay and accept what Monique had done wrong before he could talk to her.

When he saw her crying he wanted to come back and hug her but he restrained himself, he thought it was the best thing to do. And when he saw that she was already in the car, he quickly got in his car and followed her to make sure Monique got home safely.

They had already reached the building where Monique's condo was, but he still couldn't see it get out of the car so he stayed there first. A few more minutes passed and he saw it come out and go straight into the building. He didn't even get out of his car to follow the girl, it was okay for him to see that she got home safely. He waited a few more seconds before turning on the engine of his car and driving home.

When Monique entered her unit she immediately went straight to her room and flopped on the bed, she poured out all the pain she was feeling now by crying, at least there to avoid the pain somehow. She loves Cain so much and she doesn't think they will get to the point where their relationship would fall apart.

She felt sorry for herself, a Monique who is one of the famous model in Canada just chased and begged to a man but she didn't care as long as if it for the person she loved, but it was clear to her that she had nothing to look forward to Cain because the man had turned his back on earlier. 

It hurts but she has to accept, she made a mistake so he has to face it.

The next day, the couple Thunder and Jewel woke up early because they were going home because Jewel's mom set up lunch with Thunder's family, only now they will have a complete party. After a few hours, they left their house so that the traffic would not catch up with them.

It will take another hour before they arrive at Dawson Residence so it is better for them to leave early, as soon as they get out of the car Storm runs and immediately. "Mommy," he shouted and kissed Jewel's cheek and then approached. The three of them went inside at the same time because their parents were waiting for them.

"It's good that you're here, your son has been asking for a while." Thunder's mom said

"Hey son, how was the chasing of your wife and son?" Thunder's father asked jokingly

"It looks like he's still begging for my daughter for her forgiveness," Jewel's father said

The girl Jewel's face almost blushed because of what she heard. Thunder quickly grabbed her hand to calm her down.

"Come and let's eat," said by Jewel's mother

While they were eating, Storm asked permission if he could play in the garden and Jewel agreed.
