Unwanted Wife novel Chapter 54

It was noon when Jewel woke up, she saw her husband who was sitting on the chair beside their bed. She immediately got up.

"What time is it? Did you wake up early?" She asked

"It's lunch time, I didn't wake you earlier because you are sleeping like a child. Take a bath now so we can go down. They've been waiting for us."

"You didn't eat breakfast?" she asked again

"I went down earlier, Calli was looking for you. I said you are still asleep."

Jewel nodded and stood up to get ready. "I'll take a quick shower hon." She said

"Take your time hon, but make it fast please."

Jewel spent about 30 minutes before she finished fixing herself. When she came out of the bathroom she found her husband lying on the bed. 

She immediately approached him, "Hon I'm done," she said

The young man turned around and smiled at her. "Let's go." and he stood up

When they arrived at the restaurant, they immediately saw the four busy talking except for Monique who was quiet.

Thunder took her hand and at the same time they walked closer to them.

"You didn't eat breakfast with last earlier," Calli said to her

"I'm sorry about it I woke up late," She replied

"Nah! You're asleep while Thunder has his breakfast with us."

Jewel suddenly felt ashamed of what Calli said so she bent down and clung tightly to her husband's arm, Thunder seemed to notice it so he imitated her while sitting.

"Don't be too inquisitive Calli, maybe Jewel is too tired so Thunder didn't wake her up," Cain teased.

They immediately ordered something to eat, they didn't wait for long because the food arrived immediately.

As they were eating Thunder suddenly asked. "Where is Phia? ``Have you been with her last night since what time Cain?"

"Yes I took her to her suite, I even met Dane. All I know is that they went home earlier than Phy called."

"Wow! Sophia really updates you on everything she does, Hmmm! Interesting." Dark yelled and Calli punched him.

"Since it's our last day now, we should swim!" Calli happily said and they all agreed.

"I heard that there's a new bar here near the resort. Let's go there tonight?" Cain asked

"I'm in," Dark agreed and the rest of them nodded.

After they ate they started swimming, the three guys drank some beer while the women were together in the pool except for Calli who was just sitting on the side and only her feet were dipping. 

"What's your plan, Cain?" Dark suddenly asked in the middle of their talk.

"What plan are we talking about?" He asked

"Don't be stupid! You know what Dark is up to. It's about Monique," Thunder said.

"What about her?"

"Don't you have any plans to fix things with her? You know, you're being too harsh to her," Dark said.

"What else needs to be fixed? The damage has been done."

"Did you tell her that you are both over? Did you tell her about that?," Thunder asked.

"Why is Monique the topic here? There's no need to talk about it with her."

The two looked at each other and just shrugged their shoulders. They knew Cain very much when he was angry. He was really angry and he really hated liars people especially if he was being true in the beginning.

On the other hand, Jewel and Monique went up and asked Calli to sit on the side while drinking juice.

"Ahm, Monique, please don't get offended, but are you and Cain still together?" Calli asked

Monique first put down the wine she was holding and then looked at the girl. "To be honest, I also don't know if we are still in a relationship. We haven't been able to talk again because he doesn't want to talk to me. I don't want to force him because he might get even angrier," she replied sadly.

Jewel caressed the girl's back. "Everything will be alright. Cain is still angry, let him calm down first."

"Mercyl is right, just understand him for now because what you did is still fresh to his mind. Knowing Cain, he doesn't want that kind of behavior so it's no wonder that he's angry with you, and when his angry he is so harsh in his words so bear with it " Calli said

Monique nodded and smiled. "Is that so? I'm just not used to him being like that because I haven't seen him get angry yet but now I know it already, but I also don't want to expect that we'll be okay or if he still loves me, you know it hurts when expectations become disappointment." Monique said

The two laughed because of what Monique said, in fact they were impressed by her courage because if another woman were to be treated like that by Cain, she would have left but Monique still endured the behavior that was shown to her by Cain and chose to stay with them.

On the other hand a woman is irritated because of the picture she sees uploaded, she cannot accept that the people she hates are having fun while she is incarcerated.

She thinks that it can't be like this, she has to find a way to escape in this place, she can't be defeated.

'If you think I'll allow this, you're wrong. You can't be  all happy while I'm suffering,' she thought.

Later, she hid her phone because a nurse came in, and a smile flashed on her lips as she formed her plan.

"Ms. Margaux, you need to take your medicine now," a smiling nurse said.

While she was busy arranging the medicine of the woman she did not notice that Margaux stood up, she quickly took a flower vase and hit the nurse on the head, she immediately lost consciousness.

She pulled the nurse into the bathroom and then she changed their clothes. She immediately left the unconscious nurse inside as she hurried out of the room and walked away as if nothing had happened.
