Unwanted Wife novel Chapter 58

It's been two days since they got home from their vacation, but the misunderstanding between the two is still there. Jewel tries several times to talk to Thunder but he ignores her.

He is often late when he comes home because of the amount of work he does in the office and when he's at home Jewel felt that she's like air to the young man, Jewel just thanked because Storm isn't here until now because their parents took him on vacation to have medication and forget what happened to him.

Just like now the girl was just sitting, she didn't know what to do and how to talk to her husband because until now she still couldn't understand why he was like that to her.

As she thought it suddenly occurred to her what happened before they left the resort.

Flashback .....

Jewel woke up with her husband not by her side, she didn’t know if it came back when she came out or not because she fell asleep in tears. Her eyes caught their ready -made item, the young man slowly arranged it.

She got up quickly and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower and get dressed, it also took her about 30 minutes before she finally came out.

When she came out she saw her husband sitting on the bed, she immediately approached him and was ready to talk when Thunder suddenly stood up. "If you are done, let's go and they've been waiting for us," he said while carrying their belongings and went straight to the door without even waiting for her.

Jewel just sighed and grabbed her small bag and immediately followed him.

She just looked at the young man as he put their belongings in the car, later she saw Dark, Calli and Cain approaching their place but she frowned when she noticed that Monique was not there.

"Where's Monique?" She asked

"She went home first Jew she said that  there was an emergency, I just don't know what time she left," Calli replied.

Jewel nodded even though in her mind she didn't believe that Monique had an emergency, she knew it was related to whatever happened between her and  Cain last night.

"Since it is still early, let's eat first," Dark suggested and they all agreed.

Together they looked for something to eat and when they found it they immediately ordered something to eat. Their order arrived quickly so they ate to leave afterwards.

They were in the middle of eating when Calli suddenly spoke. "Are you two okay?" She asked as she looked at the married couple.

"Y-yes, why?" Jewel answered because Thunder didn't seem to have a plan in answering and continued to eat without even paying attention to Calli's question.

Dark and Cain stopped eating and also looked at the two as if waiting for an answer.

"Earlier I noticed that you weren't talking nor being sweet to each other. Did something happen?" Calli asked again

"Just continue to eat there," Jewel glared at her and she immediately got what the girl meant.

After they ate they immediately traveled home. They still have a lot to go through and from time to time they also stop to buy some food.

She tries to talk to Thunder but it looks like he's really mad at her so she doesn't push anymore. 

Until they reached their house silence occurred to them.

End of Flashback ....

Later, she heard a horn signaling that the young man was already there. She did not hesitate to stand up because she knew that their maid was there to open the door for her husband.

When Thunder entered, she stood up. "Do you want to eat? I'll prepare your food." She said

"No need, I'm still full." He answered in a cold tone and walked  directly to their room

The girl immediately followed him, when she entered their room Thunder was not here, she just heard the rush of water in their bathroom.

She sat on the bed to wait for her husband to finish taking a bath. It didn't take long after a minute he came out with only a towel covering his body.

He went straight to their closet and got dressed, then he sat down at his study table and opened his laptop.

"Thunder, can we talk?" She exclaimed but the young man was still seriously typing on his laptop

Annoyed Jewel stood up, walked over to the young man and closed his laptop. "How long will you not talk to me? It's not funny anymore."

"Can't you see I'm busy, I have a lotworks need to finish," he said briefly

"Office work must be done in the office and not at home."

"Nobody said it's forbidden to bring work home, don't you understand I have a lot to do for a few days I haven't been able to attend in the office," he said annoyed.

"Don't use your work as an excuse, Thunder it's been two days since we got home but still I can't talk to you properly!"

"What kind of conversation do you need, huh? Aren't we done talking last time?" he said

"You think that's a conversation? That's the problem with you because you're going through everyone's temper!"

"And I'm wrong again, am I right?"

"I didn't say that! I just want to say that if you have a problem tell me," Jewel insisted

"You want us to talk again and again? We talked already last time at the resort right? Do you want to talk again?"

"Because you're exercising the narrowness in your brain Thunder! You are being unreasonable!" Jewel shouted

"Okay I am narrow -minded here. Is that what you want to hear right?"

Jewel almost wanted to squat on the floor in extreme annoyance.

"You know if your behavior is still like this and when Storm comes back from the vacation I think we need to go home first, in my parents house. " Jewel said

"What? You want to let Storm know what is happening for us now? So that I'm going to look bad here again? Wow Jewel just wow!"

"See? Can't you see how narrow  your mind is?  If you think I will brainwash our son you are mistaken. I am not and I will not do such a thing," She exclaimed.

"You don't have such a habit but Storm knows what happened to us in the past? Who's the reason why my son hates me? Aren't you? So until now my own son still can't accept me!"

"You don't have any right to criticize me, because you don't know what I've been through!" She said as tears falling from her eyes

"Yeah right! I don't know what you've been through. Do you know what I went through also? I guess not right?." Thunder's sarcasm occur again

"I know you're blaming me for everything, why Storm is mad at you. But he's not the issue here Thunder!"

"Of course our son isn't the issue here, it's you who is flirting with my friend." Thunder said in a serious tone

Jewel's palm quickly landed on her husband's cheek because she was so angry at what she heard.

"How dare you! How many times have I told you not to give malice to what you saw, even if you ask Cain about the whole incident, but I know you will not do it knowing you? Thunder Alcantara the hard headed man. I'm listening to you when you're angry but to me you are not giving me a chance to explain, you are not listening to what I am going to say. So just think about what you want to think! If you think I'm going to beg you to make you believe me you're wrong. I'm no longer the weak Jewel back then," she said firmly and left the room.

Thunder sighed, in fact he also couldn't understand himself why he reacted like that night he saw his wife and friend hugging. He felt intense jealousy for reasons he did not know.

He just put away the papers on the study table because he also lost the appetite to work, he did not want to hurt his wife and he did not want to recount the past because he knew they were starting again as a family but he could not avoid because in he thought that Jewel would not get his point either.

When he finished putting away his belongings he immediately lay down on their bed, he knew his wife was in Storm's room.
