Unwanted Wife novel Chapter 69

Five months ago when Thunder and Jewel remarried, the two have been on good terms for the past month. But it is still unavoidable that there are days when they quarrel or fight, because the young man's jealousy and possessiveness towards his wife is still there.

Jewel is here now at their dining table because she is arranging what she has prepared for her husband as a peace offering because they had a misunderstanding the other day. Their son is away because he is abroad with Thunder's parents, while Jewel's parents are busy with their business in New York.

Jewel looked at the clock and it was about ten o'clock in the evening but she still didn't have her husband which she was very surprised because she is not going home this late.. He first sat in their living room to just wait for it, She picked up her phone and called Thunder.

"Hello," greeted the one on the other line.

"What time are you going home?" She asked

"Maybe later, there's a lot more to take care of here," the young man replied but Jewel wondered why it was noisy in the place where it was.

"Where are you? You're not in the office are you? 

Why the background noise?" She asked.

"I'm at the bar with my employees, because one of the deals was closed so as a thankful gift I treat them here."

"Is that so? I thought you were going home early because you said it," the girl's voice was sad.

He heard the young man sigh. "I can't leave them, I brought them here hon,"

"I know and I understand. It's okay," the girl said weakly.

"I'm going home after a few hours. Okay?"

After they talked, Jewel immediately dropped the call, she felt disappointed because this was the first time that Thunder did not fulfill his promise. In the past, when he said to go home early, he would go home at the right time, no matter how busy he is.

The girl did nothing and just went upstairs to sleep, because she knew that she had nothing to wait for because she was sure that her husband would come home in the morning.

Thunder POV

I just sighed after I talked to my wife. I know and I feel the sadness in her voice when I said that I can't go home right away, because I can't leave my employees here. And I know I'm guilty too because I didn't tell her about the plan today and another thing that added to my mind was the misunderstanding we had the day before.

I'll just talk to her later when I get home or tomorrow, I won't be here long either.

I have gone back to my friends because I am with them now.

"What's with that face of yours?" Dark asked

"Just ask who is the reason why his face is like that," Cain laughed a second time.

"Even if I don't ask, I know that's because of Jewel."

"What happened?" Cain asked seriously.

"I forgot to tell her about this, because we talked earlier that I will go home early today," I said

"Oh oh, you're in big trouble men," Dark said

My face wrinkled even more because my friend said, I know Jewel will just be quiet but I know in myself that we have a problem now.

"Just talk to her when you get home, you know Jew is easy to talk to as long as you lower your pride so you can get along right away," Cain said as he drank his beer.

I nodded and dropped the glass I was holding with only wine.

We just kept drinking and we even talked about what's what.

I didn't realize it at the time and I was already feeling dizzy, it looks like I had too much alcohol so this is how I feel.

I looked around and saw if my employees were still having fun while my two friends looked like they were drunk as well.

I got up and went around to the dance floor, even though I was drunk I was still managing myself.

When I got to the dance floor I was suddenly pulled over by one of my employees.

"Sir, come here first and dance with us. Right guys?" One of my employees said,

I couldn't do anything about it when she kept on pulling me so even though I was dizzy I just let them go.

As the woman in front of me who had pulled me earlier continued to dance I could feel her approaching me. She is trying to seduce me, I think she is new to my office and she didn't know that I am married. I admit she is sexy and pretty but still my wife is sexier and gorgeous.

Later on it suddenly clung to me and then she suddenly kissed me. At first I got shocked and also because of my drunkenness I saw my wife's face on her so I couldn't help but respond to her kiss.

But I stopped and let go of holding the woman when I felt the sudden silence around and I heard Dark and Cain calling to me and when I looked at who they were looking at I felt so scared and nervous.

The only one person standing and looking close to us was none other than my wife.

"Hon.." I whisper

Jewel POV

I woke up in my sleep and looked at the clock. Thunder was still not home yet so what I did was I just put on a jacket and took my car key to go to where they were bar. All I knew was that Dark and Cain were there too.

The trip didn't take long because it wasn't far from home and because it was early in the morning so there was no traffic.

When I got to the bar I parked my car and quickly got out, just outside you could already hear the noise coming from inside.

I walked inside and rolled my eyes to see where my husband was, not long after I saw Cain and Dark lying on a table and suddenly Cain looked up and he saw me, he immediately tapped and Dark.

But I lost my attention when I heard the noise coming from the dance floor, I walked over there and I looked at what was happening.

I was so shocked by what I saw and it was as if I was a statue unable to move where I was standing. 

I could still hear Cain screaming but I felt deaf because I could no longer understand what they were saying because my eyes were only focused on the person in front of me.

I saw my husband kissing one of his employee..
