　　Rawlf had just finished a call with his secretary, when he heard the suite's bedroom opened. He turned to look and saw his woman, walking at him with a small smile on her face.

　　Rawlf stood up and when the woman was near, he pulled her gently in his embrace. "Morning." He greeted her and kissed her as usual, at the top of her head.

　　"Morning." Veronica replied as she hugged him around his muscled waist, taking in his scent and sigh in contentment.

　　"Let me heat up the food first for your brunch."

　　Veronica hummed a reply yet still clinging on to the man.

　　Rawlf's breath hitched as he was assaulted by a tightening sensation in his heart. Really, his woman was too dangerous for his health. He was already planning to up his work out to strengthen the muscles in his heart.

　　Seeing as Veronica seemed to have no plan of letting him go, Rawlf decided to,... as usual, carry her on the kitchenette.

　　Rawlf placed Veronica on the chair while he turned busy heating up the food in the microwave. Veronica on the other hand was busy ogling on her man's body.

　　"You seemed to want to eat something different today", Rawlf suddenly said in a playful tone making Veronica giggled.

　　"I'll get to taste it again anyway, patience is a virtue Mr. Sy", Veronica alluringly replied in a soft voice as she winked at him when he turned to look at her.

　　"Naughty", Rawlf shakes his head and continues with heating the food.

　　He'll get his side of flirting later on, once his little enchantress is fully fed, he'll surely get back on her.

　　True to her words, patience is a virtue.

　　Veronica giggled once more and patiently waited yet the smell of the food's aroma made her feel her hunger. The smell of bacon and sweet cured pork made Veronica salivate.

　　"Is there also rice and a sunny side up egg?" Veronica asked excitedly. "Yes, sweetheart."

　　After some minutes, the foods were all heated and Rawlf moved to place them on the counter table in front of Veronica. The palatable smell from the food made Veronica drooled. "Ah, heaven."

　　"How about you?" Veronica asked as Rawlf only placed one plate on the table in front of her. "I ate mine already", Rawlf smiled in contentment.

　　"Good boy."

　　The kitchenette turned silent and awkward. Veronica realizing her carelessness made her want to face palm with her own self.

　　"I "

　　Rawlf moved to her side and gently caressed her hair, "It's okay sweetheart. Finish your brunch first and we'll talk about it. Patience is a virtue, isn't it?" Rawlf winked at her.

　　The couple was back in the living area after Veronica ate her breakfast.

　　"Wait", she said and turned to walk inside the bedroom. Veronica went out after a while and in her embrace was her laptop.

　　The atmosphere then turned tense and awkward.

　　Veronica moved to sit beside Rawlf and looked at the man who was already dotingly gazing at her. His pair of beautiful, sharp and deep seated eyes gazing at her affectionately.

　　Why is this man so good to her ah?! Veronica can't help but felt guilty once again. "Stop that."

　　"Ah?" Veronica was confused, and looked at Rawlf with a questioning gaze. "I can read that expression. You're self blaming."

　　Veronica took a deep breath and moved to open her laptop. She directly clicked on a folder and

　　.... took another deep breath as she showed it to Rawlf.

　　Rawlf was confused and shocked seeing the pictures of two toddlers!

　　The adorable boy has red hair like that of Veronica while the lovable girl has a blonde one!

　　Rawlf couldn't understand the sudden jolt of emotions in his heart and as suspicion rose through him, he moved to scan the pictures of the two toddlers, obviously, who are fraternal twins.

　　Another picture another one..and Rawlf lost track of time as he scanned through the pictures

　　of the twins. Only the hair colour was different but the twins, they both have his face! Then, he realized it!

　　His baby and younger boy pictures were etched on his mind as his mother was fond of putting his picture in frames all throughout the corner of their mansion.

　　Rawlf was unwilling to stop himself from scanning the pictures of the children yet he had to, to confirm the truth to his woman.

　　He turned to look at Veronica and with soft voice asked,

　　"They're mine."

　　Not a question, rather a statement.

　　Veronica's breath hitched but prevented herself from crying. Why was she being so emotional with him! This is so annoying!

　　``Yes....They'll turn five years old this year....in November they're two months premature."

　　Rawlf hitched his breath at the thought of her having a premature labor. Aside from that, the situation of his children.

　　Why?!

　　Why is he not around to support her and their children?! Rawlf was mad at himself. For the first time ever, he felt so useless#!

　　"I....I was scared. I ....I was very very afraid that I might lose one of them or worst both of

　　them.I couldn't help but blame myself for their pitiful state. They they don't looked like they

　　were breathing at all.... I was very very scared and that experienced made me feel insecure

　　about telling about their existence to you…… I'm scared that you won't accept them I wasn't

　　sure about your reaction or how will you fare about it.....and I wasn't ready myself."

　　Veronica explained in between sobs. True, she wanted to be strong and stopped herself from crying but just the reminder and a flashback with how her precious babies suffered from their premature birth, Veronica couldn't help herself as the strong emotions of regret and sadness surges through her.

　　Rawlf seeing the distraught in his woman's appearance plus her sobbing made him move to gently embrace her.

　　"If only I wasn't stupid enough. If only I was stronger then.....if only my babies could have not

　　suffered "

　　Rawlf was rubbing Veronica's hair to her back in between while his expression turned unreadable.

　　The premature birth of their children wasn't an accident but there was a reason behind it. Rawlf deduced.

　　His jaw tightened. Some people really have to pay the price of hurting their woman and children!
