We Will Collide Someday by Scarlett Sanchez novel Chapter 173

Chapter 173 Stop Crying

Alexa seemed to be unable to feel the noises.

She calmly met Terrence's cold gaze, and the pain in her heart had already become numb.

"Ok, sorry to trouble you.

After speaking, she saw Terrence's face get sullener.

The two elders were extremely angered by him, so they sermonized Terrence for a while.

In the end, Rebekah forcefully said, "We will hold a dinner party tomorrow. You and Alexa have to attend."

"Mom, what do you want to do?"

Terrence asked resignedly.

"What do I want? It is certainly to announce this happy event," Rebekah said firmly.

She also wanted Terrence to give up his wishful thinking.

Then, the two elders were busy learning the pieces of knowledge of nutritionists, childminders, and so on.

Terrence's face was extremely sullen. Alexa looked away indifferently, and the ends of her eyes were faintly red.

After an intravenous drip, they went home together.

Under the supervision of his parents, Terrence did not speak to Alexa all the way.

Alexa sat in the front passenger seat, looking like a fragile porcelain doll.

"We have decided to give 15 percent of Hudson Group's shares to Alexa. What do you think?" Jason asked casually.

Terrence was expressionless as he replied indifferently.

"You can decide."

Alexa was in horror.

She said nervously, "Jason, Rebekah, I don't need shares. I..."

"Alexa, this is what you deserve." Rebekah nodded kindly, "After we pass away, Hudson Group will belong to Terrence and you."

Alexa knew they did this for the sake of her baby, so she felt even more guilty.

My baby cannot even be admitted by its father...

Alexa refused in every possible way and did not notice Terrence's face was getting more and more sullen.

On returning to the villa, Rebekah took Alexa to the room.

"Alexa, I have something to speak to you about privately."

Alexa looked up and gazed at her in surprise.

Rebekah took out a delicate agarwood box from her handbag. There is an elegant white jade bracelet inside the black box.

"Rebekah..."

"This bracelet was given to me by my mother-in-law."

As Rebekah spoke, she held Alexa's hand and put the bracelet on her wrist.

"Now I have passed it to you. It's pretty suitable for you," Rebekah smiled happily.

"Rebekah, I can't accept such a precious thing."

"Alexa, I want you to understand only you can be Mrs. Ramsey, the next hostess of the Ramsey family."

Alexa felt speechless as if a huge rock was pressing down on her heart.

"Your father and I promise you, no matter when, you are the daughter-in-law of the Ramsey family. You have suffered so much over the years."

Alexa looked down and suddenly wanted to shed tears.

She certainly felt wronged. I used to be an apple of my parents' and brother's eyes, but now I'm in such a poor state.

"Rebekah, it's all in the past."

"I understand your thinking."

Rebekah suddenly changed the topic, and a shrewd twinkle flashed in her eyes.

"I promise you when this child is born, Terrence will definitely

pay attention to your child and you."

Hearing this, Alexa felt bitterly disappointed.

Although she said so much, her final intention was still to use my baby to threaten Terrence.

After telling everything necessary, Rebekah finally left at ease.

Alexa lay on the bed, and the waves of panic made it difficult for her to fall asleep.

Not long after, the door lock softly rang, and Terrence surprisingly came in and stood at the foot of the bed.

It was sunset, and the afterglow gently sprinkled into the room, and the coldness on him seemed to vanish.

Terrence saw the jade bracelet placed on the cabinet, and an unknown twinkle flashed in his deep eyes.

"Has mom given you this bracelet?"

Alexa turned her back to him.

"I won't accept it. You can take it away," she said in a deep voice.

"Alexa, do you hate me so much?"

"Terrence, you are so strange!"

Alexa couldn't bear it anymore, so she sat up and looked like an angry little deer.

"From the beginning, you are always doing whatever you want! Why are you blaming me now?" she shouted in a low voice.

Terrence was surprised for seconds and took a few steps closer.

"I can do whatever I want? I asked you to have an abortion, but you didn't do that." He said in a cold and evil voice.

"No way!"

Alexa was so angry that she grabbed a pillow and threw it at Terrence.

Terrence did not dodge and took the chance to pounce on her.

Alexa was confined in a corner by him, and her tears dropped on her clothes.

Terrence sneered.

"You were very forceful just now! Why are you crying now?" he said in a half-joking manner.

"Go away!"

Alexa hit him with her palm and grabbed his tie angrily.

Terrence lowered his head.

"Mrs. Ramsey, what are you trying to do?" He teased her intimately.

"Terrence, I am not joking with you! If you don't go away, I will..." Alexa threatened strictly.

"Strangle me?" Terrence looked up calmly. "Alexa, you are murdering your husband."

Alexa was disgusted by him and shook off his tie with a cold face.

Terrence's playful face returned to normal quickly. He sat at the bedside and dressed up, glancing sideways at Alexa.

Alexa's eyes are still full of tears, and her pale face makes her look wronged and pitiful.

"Stop crying," he said a little awkwardly.

Terrence knew he should please her, but he didn't know how.

"It's my fault. Don't cry."

Alexa wiped away her tears, then covered her mouth and ran into the bathroom.

When Terrence went over, he heard several painful vomiting sounds.

"I'll get you some water.

"No need..."

When Terrence came back, Alexa was leaning against the bed and swallowing a few pills.

"What are you eating?" He suddenly asked.

Alexa put away the medicine bottle indifferently.

"Medicine."

Terrence quickly walked over and stretched out his hand.

Alexa coldly refused, "No need, it's just the abortion prevention medicine prescribed by my doctor."

"Really?"

Terrence was still persistent.

"Let me have a look."

Obviously, he did not believe her.

Alexa was silent as she was in a deadlock with him.

Suddenly, she boldly said, "Terrence, you don't have to care so much."

After that, someone knocked on the door.

"Alexa, Terrence, it's time for dinner."

Rebekah's voice stopped Terrence's anger. He glanced at Alexa coldly and turned to leave without a word.

Alexa followed behind him with a faint smile on her face.

No matter how apart we couples are, in front of the two elders,

I must pretend to be a perfect daughter-in-law.
