We Will Collide Someday by Scarlett Sanchez novel Chapter 174

Chapter 174 Why Does She Always Want to Leave?

Terrence was walking in front of Alexa. Then, he suddenly turned back to grab her hand.

Alexa subconsciously wanted to shake it off, but Terrence grabbed it even tighter.

Jason and Rebekah were relieved to see them like this

"That's right," Rebekah smiled in delight. "Terrence, take good care of Alexa."

"Got it."

"

Terrence responded indifferently and carefully pulled up a chair for Alexa.

Alexa thought there must be something wrong with him.

She didn't know what he was going to do. Suspicion filled her heart.

"You should prepare well for tomorrow's dinner."

"Got it."

Rebekah looked at Terrence's calm appearance and was not at ease at all.

"Terrence, don't cause any trouble."

"Mom," Terrence said impatiently.

Alexa silently ate her food and observed them.

Weird silence took the place of the intense atmosphere.

Feeling a bit unpleasant, Terrence answered a call and then left in a hurry.

Alexa had long been accustomed to it, but Terrence's parents were quite dissatisfied.

Rebekah sneered and said in a dignified tone.

"Since Terrence does not cherish this opportunity, then let us teach him a lesson."

After Terrence left, Alexa felt a lot more relaxed.

Inspiration struck her. Alexa focused on her new design in a good mood.

It was midnight when Alexa received a call from Edwin.

Edwin said nervously, "I'm sorry to bother you, Mrs. Ramsey. Mr. Ramsey drank a little too much tonight. He's at the door now. Could you come out and pick him up?"

Alexa immediately ran to the window and saw Terrence's Rolls-Royce parked down there.

She had no choice but to go downstairs and help Terrence out.

Edwin looked at them curiously.

Terrence did drink a lot today. His smell of alcohol almost made Alexa throw up.

Terrence leaned on Alexa's thin body, but it seemed like he was holding her into the room.

"Alexa..."

"Keep your voice down. Jason and Rebekah already went to bed," Alexa nervously blamed him.

"OK."

Terrence responded in a low voice and stopped yelling.

Alexa was holding him and moved forward step by step. Soon, she felt exhausted.

"How much did you drink?"

"Are you worrying about me?"

Terrence teased her. Then he stopped leaning on her with all his weight.

Alexa frowned and said in a bad mood.

"I don't care about you. It's none of my business."

"Keep your voice down," Terrence mischievously said. "They will hear it."

Alexa was suddenly speechless and almost burst into anger.

She wondered, is he really drunk or is he just pretending?

Alexa wanted to send Terrence to his room, but Terrence didn't want to.

"What are you doing?" he asked unhappily. "You don't want to be responsible?"

"What am I responsible for?" Alexa said angrily. "Terrence, don't talk nonsense.

"Well."

"1

Terrence snorted softly and walked into Alexa's room by himself.

"Terrence?"

Alexa immediately followed in. But Terrence lay on her bed without even hesitating.

"What exactly do you want?"

"Alexa, take care of me."

Alexa went speechless.

She really wanted to pick up a pillow and smash it on him.

She thought, how can he create trouble for me so blatantly?

"I can't do that," Alexa said nonchalantly. "But I can help you call Brynlee."

"Alexa!"

Terrence spoke with dissatisfaction, and he got up and stared at her.

A moment later, he suddenly softened.

"Can you not give me such a headache?"

"OK." Alexa nodded. "Do you need me to get you some painkillers?"

Terrence frowned deeply. He was really angry.

But Alexa didn't know how to drive him away, so she stood in the corner and looked at him.

She was wearing a set of close-fitting lingerie under her loose sleeping robe.

Terrence boldly looked down and fixed his gaze on her slightly bulging lower abdomen.

He was doing the calculation and concluded that Alexa was more than 3 months pregnant.

His gaze suddenly darkened, as if it was the rain that was about to pour down.

Only then did Alexa realize that something was wrong and hurriedly tied up the straps of her sleeping robe.

Terrence suddenly sobered up and put on a straight face.

"Alexa, I'll say it first." He stared straight at Alexa's guilty expression. "You better not regret it." "What do I have to regret?"

"So what if you still have feelings for Brenton?" Terrence sneered cruelly. "Aren't you still unable to escape now?" Alexa knew that he was making a fuss about her child again.

The glimmer of hope in her heart was extinguished. "Terrence, you won't even let an innocent life live?"

There was no trace of warmth in Terrence's cold eyes.

It had been so long that Alexa thought that this matter had been over.

Unexpectedly, Terrence was still scheming against her baby in secret.

"Terrence, how can you be so ruthless!"

Terrence said coldly, "Alexa, I said it before. As long as you give up on him, I can let bygones be bygones. You will still be my wife."

Alexa burst into laughter.

She sneered disdainfully with tears in her eyes.

Alexa thought, Terrence, why are you so cold-hearted?

"How is it?" Terrence pressed on step by step. "You should know how to choose, right?"

"Terrence, how generous of you to offer me a choice." Alexa

stared at him coldly. "Do you really think I want to be your puppet?"

"You don't want to? I think you don't know what's good for you."

Terrence stood up. His drunkenness vanished.

"I'll give you time. Think about it again."

Alexa stood there motionlessly. Terrence left coldly and angrily slammed the door shut.

The sheets of paper she had placed on the table were blown to the ground by the cold wind.

Alexa squatted down and spent a long time picking them up.

Then she shredded them.

She thought she was not worthy of having any hope in her miserable life.

Terrence sat in the study, holding an old bronze ring in his hand.

This was given to him by Alexa when they got married.

But Terrence had never worn it once.

The cold wind with the night rain poured into the room. He fiddled with the ring several times and sincerely put the ring on the ring finger of his left hand.

The ring was nothing fancy, but it was very good. Terrence tried to numb himself with alcohol again. But Alexa's

stubborn and cold face became clearer and clearer in front of his eyes.

He had been forced to give up a lot of things and always wanted to catch something.

He wondered why Alexa always wanted to run away from him.

The lights in the study were on all night.

The next morning, Alexa did not see Terrence in the living room.

Did he leave last night?

When Alexa was wondering, Rebekah casually said.

"What is Terrence doing? Why hasn't he gone downstairs yet?"

Alexa understood and nodded lightly.

"Rebekah, I'll wake him up."
