Worship The Ground You Walk On novel Chapter 99

Got someone else involved.

The words were simple, but once she heard them from Ben, she felt like she couldn’t understand it anymore.

What had she done? Who was involved by her?

Seeing her in confusion, Ben said, “Do you think I really don’t know what you have done?”

She was even more confused!

What had she actually done?

Claudia couldn’t understand why he was blaming her for something she didn’t even know and said in sign language, “What have I done?”

Ben glanced at her and then leaned forward, “Are you playing the fool to me, Claudia? Do you think you can get away just by doing this?”

She was surprised by his words.

Why did he never have any positive comment on her? He always believed that she got someone innocent involved or just playing the fool.

“I know what you have done to the Evans family,” Ben loosened his hand a little, but still pinched her jaw.

Looking at her clear eyes, Ben squinted his eyes. Just from her appearance, he would never believe she was a girl who could conspire such an evil plan.

Thinking about what she had done recently, he didn’t have any good impression on her.

“You have done so many things recently, Claudia. You got the Evans family cornered again and again. I know you dislike the Evans family, and it’s fine for me. So I haven’t asked you anything about that before. But…”

Ben turned to look at her with a slight sense of anger in his eyes, “You shouldn’t get someone else involved!”

His voice was cold and ruthless.

And his words were filled with his grievance, Claudia could feel that.

She took a deep breath and said in gestures, “Someone else…Do you mean Hanna?”

She had already known the answer.

If it was really ‘someone else’ instead of Hanna, Ben wouldn’t be mad like this.

“If you are referring to Hanna, I feel sorry about her as well. I don’t even know the journalists are ambushing me. I’m so sorry about Hanna getting hurt just because of me, and I deserve a painful death. Are you satisfied?”

Claudia made the gestures angrily. Though she said she was sorry, she didn’t look like feeling sorry at all.

Ben was irritated and held her much tighter, while Claudia was giving all she got to get rid of him. In the struggle, she heard a tearing sound, and then her shirt was split in half.

The remnant of the shirt draped on her, leaving her lace underwear in exposure.

Soon, Ben turned to stare at her breast silently.

Seeing his reaction, Claudia wanted to laugh out loud.

She had been doing so many things for him. Even CCU Project was designed for the Crawford Group by her.

And the only thing she wanted was to take the chance, rescue her mother, and revenge on Blair and Eric. Given how she was treated by the Evans family in these years, she did nothing wrong.

But now he was scolding her just because she got Hanna involved accidentally.

Ridiculous.

Thinking about this, Claudia clenched her fists and raised her head, “I have made my apology. Is that enough for you? Or do you want more?”

Ben frowned suddenly and reached out his hand.

Claudia thought he was going to beat her and closed her eyes quickly.

But he smiled and stroked her hair slowly, giving her a strong feeling of constriction, “I don’t need your apology. I want you to promise me that she won’t be involved in anything about you.”

She was hurt by his words so hard with tears in her eyes.

“You really care much about her, but what about me?”

Claudia couldn’t hold it any longer and questioned him.

A long time ago, when she was still preparing to marry Ben just because of the testament, she wanted to ask the question already.

Before the wedding ceremony, she was trying on the wedding dress.

She wore a white wedding dress standing on the stage and smiled happily, as pure as an angel.

She was real beauty, and the wedding dress accentuated her charm.

But then, Ben showed up and changed everything.

He dragged her into the lounge coldly and entered her, on the day before she was married to him.

In that summer afternoon, she lost her virginity, shivering beneath him, her face flushed and eyes closed helplessly.

But on the couch, she could only hear him calling a name in drunk.

Hanna.

Hanna Lewis.

Seeing the red blood stained on the wedding dress, she felt aching.

Since then, she had already wanted to ask him the question. If he loved Hanna, why did he marry her?

To obey the testament? To secure the property of the Crawford family?

If he only cared about possessions, the CCU Project could give him what he wanted.

But for Hanna, he delayed the project again and again…

It turned out that there was something important than his career for him. It was Hanna.

Claudia’s mind was filled with bitterness. She lowered her head in shame hoping to run away right now, but couldn’t be free from the hands grasping her.

“What about you?” he laughed mockingly and repeated it like hearing a funny joke.

She was still keeping her head low, being afraid of seeing his cold eyes, and being afraid that the love she had been cherishing and protecting was nothing but a funny joke to him.

But Ben just pinched her jaw and raised her head, and moved close to her.

He didn’t say anything, but bent down and kissed her lips.

As aggressive as he used to be.

But unlike the usual situation, he was kissing her crazily and unrestrained.

Later, when Claudia even felt pain because of his kiss, Ben let go of her lips slowly and said, “You are my wife, don’t you? If you don’t know the role you are playing, that’s fine. I can teach you on the bed until you can’t forget it.”

Before Claudia could make a move, he carried her in her arms and walked to the bed with a pair of red eyes and blue veins showing on his face, like he would eat her alive right away.

Claudia moved back stressfully on the bed, trying to get away from him, but he just grabbed her ankle and dragged her to the middle of the bed.

She felt more pain when he was pounding her. It was more painful than before.

He must do it on purpose.

Enter her unexpectedly without any fondle, in and out ruthlessly.

She was tolerating this helplessly with tears running down from her face.

After a long time, he finally released her.

She got away from him hurriedly with a pale face and regained her breath.

When she was trying to get out of the bed with her numb legs, Ben grabbed her arm all of a sudden.

“Who allows you to leave?”

She could feel him approaching.
