I sat in the toilet room, and my mind was in a mess.

Although I was no longer a little girl, I hadn't experienced these things before. I was nervous, but not afraid. I only felt that they had nothing new. No matter what these bosses looked like, they were all obscene inside.

I thought for a long time and decided to resign.

He saw that I was in a trance and asked for a glass of hot water from the receptionist. I didn't refuse and sat down on the sofa next to him.

Gavin came straight to the point, "You want to resign?"

I nodded and said nothing.

Gavin said, "You're still pregnant. Have you ever thought about how you'll live after quitting your job?"

"I have been thinking about it," I said, "I can find another job that can also provide for my child and me."

"But where can you find a job which you are familiar with and offers a good salary? You are now in a special time, and even made mistakes in your familiar jobs, let alone a job with which you are not familiar."

"But this mistake did bring trouble to my colleagues. If I don't resign, you will not accept me and work with me  ."

Gavin sighed and said, "Darcey Back, they did not say they would not work with you. How do you know they do not want to work with you?"

Gavin's mention of my full name reminded me of what he had said last time. He never mentioned it again after that, as if he'd never said it and I'd just misunderstood.

I hesitated before saying, "But I... I have already resigned..."

"It doesn't matter," said Gavin. "I've already talked to Mr. Moretz. You can go back to work tomorrow."
