Date with Me, Sugar Mama novel Chapter 51

Assassination, poison and slander...

These words made Viola’s heart quiver. She had been through those things in the Sutton family for 20 years.

Viola could not help looking at Steven, but realized that those dirty means were nothing to him, for he was powerful.

However, she could get away from the pain.

“Ungrateful brat.” Charles laughed, “I should have strangled you when you were born.”

He was as wicked as the Sutton family, and the heart of Viola ineffably trembled.

She clenched Steven's hand and spoke first.

“Mr. Charles, it is not a big deal to kill a few people. Any fool could do that, and I'm telling you, there are three freaks like you in the Sutton family. I'm sure Steven, like me, doesn't care what kind of dirty tricks you use. You're nothing but a joke to us. We can throw you to Africa to dig coal, to feel the suffering of the world.”

Charles moved his lips, scowling at her like a snake, saying, “Little girl, you speak in a big voice.”

Viola got up, smiled casually, and continued, “Mr. Charles, I'm going back to report to Mr. Shaws. I'm sure he'll be happy and give me a raise.”

Steven was dragged away by her and looked at her haughty and stubborn side face with an ambiguous smile on his mouth. Was this girl standing up for him?

Jordan had successfully rescued Sucy, but Sucy had fallen into a coma. Jordan took her to the hospital first, and Steven and Viola arrived later.

Just as they walked out of the basement, sirens came from far to near.
