Chapter 54 Reinvestigation

Lawson had just come out of the smoking room when he heard several nurses complaining while

running

“What happened to Ms. Callis? We told her to have a good rest and not get excited. It’s going to be a

busy day.”

Lawson put out his hand to stop a nurse and asked, “Who were you talking about just now? Ms. Callis?”

“Yes, Anaya Callis. She is the only one who can afford the VIP ward.”

Then the nurse shook off Lawson’s hand and ran away.

Lawson was very upset.

He had followed Orlando since Orlando had first come to work in the Caffrey Group, and it had been at least seven or eight years. He had no relatives or friends and it was Orlando who offered him a

job.

Anaya was the first person to smile at Lawson and his first friend.

Lawson regards Orlando as his family. But Anaya was special to Lawson and he wanted to protect

her.

Lawson liked Anaya but he dared not tell her.

Anaya is not happy. Orlando didn’t take care of her when she was seriously injured, but only cared about Viola. How could he do this to Anaya!

Lawson clenched his fists and thought he should do something.

After leaving the hospital, Viola got a call.

When Viola learned that Anaya’s illness had worsened, she was happy.

I taught Anaya a lesson. Now I should go to the training base and accelerate the working procedure.

Viola’s car was scrapped last night. She had no time to buy a car, so she had to take a taxi there.

The staff was very respectful to Viola. The person in charge reported the equipment and process that were being improved to her,

Viola walked around the base and felt that there was no problem. The program would be officially rehearsed and broadcast soon.

When a young female staff looked at Viola, she was excited and asked for Viola’s autograph

enthusiastically.

“Ms. Zumthor, I have seen your video. You are beaudful. Will you take part in this talent show? I will support you!”

Viola smiled awkwardly. She didn’t expect to meet her fan at the training base. She refused to sign

an autograph for the girl.

“Sorry, I’m not a celebrity, and I won’t be a celebrity. Forgive me that I can’t sign an autograph for you.”

Then Viola left with the person in charge.

After Viola left, the girl was still staring at her back. The girl gradually calmed down and looked at the notebook with Viola’s fingerprints.

Viola went to the dormitory and canteen of the trainees and asked for the roster of the hundred

trainees.

Viola looked through the roster casually, but she didn’t expect to see a familiar name and face on

the last few pages.

It was Sherlyn Ayre.

Sherlyn was Viola’s only friend when Viola was in the welfare house. Sherlyn had a serious illness before and Viola had even asked Whitney to lend her money to treat Sherlyn.

But Viola didn’t borrow enough money to cure Sherlyn. Later, Sherlyn was kicked out of the welfare

house and they lost contact.

Viola did not expect to meet Sherlyn after a few years. It seemed that she had a good time these

years.

The person in charge noticed Viola’s reaction and saw that she seemed to be a little excited.

Then he hurriedly flattered Viola, “Is she your good friend? Shall we secretly give special advantages to her?”

“No, this is unfair to others. I believe she won’t accept it.”
