Harvey York's Rise to Power novel Chapter 243

Mandy was stunned. Previously, she didn’t even have the intention to look at Jamie. Now, she couldn’t help sneak a few glances at him.

For her, she had always wished her future husband would be exceptional in terms of appearance and abilities.

Cecilia shot a glimpse at Harvey, and sighed.

Before, I told Mandy not to bring Harvey along. Now, how wonderful is this? She’s humiliated.’

Nia smiled and stood up. “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m sorry. My husband has learned how to play piano since young. His skills are pretty good, too. After he saw the piano, he couldn’t help but want to play it. He didn’t have any intentions to show off. I hope none of you pay any mind.”

Nia said that they had no intention to show off, and she even asked the others not to mind it. Yet all that was exactly what she was doing right now, showing off. She was obviously enjoying the envy and admiration of her classmates.

“Nia, you’re so lucky! You have such a great husband! It’s like he’s from heaven!”

“That’s right. Piano is an important symbol for the nobility of Europe. Your husband is indeed a noble in our Niumhi!”

“Your husband is rich, handsome and talented. This kind of man is really one in a million!”

In that instant, the female classmates became Jamie’s fans. Their admiration rose when Jamie finished playing and stood up to bow like an elegant gentleman. All of them couldn’t help but admire him for his gentility.

They stared at Jamie, as though bewitched. Every single one of them wanted to be his wife badly.

“Jamie, I asked you not to act like that everywhere you go, but you didn't listen to me. If my classmates didn’t know any better, they might think we’re showing off!” Nia smiled and walked toward Jamie, and began to complain.

Despite her complaints, she couldn’t hide her smug expression.

“I can’t help it. Every time I see a piano, I feel like playing it.” Jamie said helplessly. “Don’t blame me. It’s because of my talents. I really can’t hide them.”

Nia mimicked his helpless look, sighing. She fixed her gaze on Mandy, and flashed Mandy a meaningful smile, “Mandy, I remembered you mentioned this back in the university. You said your future husband must be a pianist. Did I remember it right?”

Mandy, who had grown quite restless, paled slightly.
