After Anna left Ashley began to panic. She was scared for her life and although she didn't like Tatiana, that girl was crazy and could do almost anything. Ashley didn't know what to do, she kept pacing around in her room before she thought about Jake, but then she remembered what she heard Jake said in the kitchen. She sighed before plopping down on the bed, she furrows, "I can't believe he's leaving," she mumbled to herself as she felt her heartache. 

She was afraid that Jake would leave and not know about her feelings but she was even more scared about telling him how she feels. She wonders, "What if he doesn't feel the same way?" or "What if he finally accepts the fact that he's kind of like a step-brother."
