Heat

Ashley was a bit shaken up as Tatiana ended to call. She placed her phone down on the countertop before walking towards the sink as she splashed water on her face. Jake walked into the kitchen wondering what taking Ashley so long, only to be stopped in his tracks as he saw Ashley leaned up against the sink breathing heavily.

Jake immediately began to get worried as he rushed towards her, "Ashley, hey what's wrong?" He asked turning her body around to lock eyes with her teary ones. He began to panic as he thought of the worst possible thing, "Ashley, you need to tell me what's going on?" He asked again as Ashley broke down causing Jake to pull her into his arms, "I'm so tired of this, Jake, I want it to stop," she cried as Jake furrowed, "What do you mean, Ash?" He asked stroking her hair as she continued, "The threats, the constant worry about what's going to happen, and the bad blood," she sobbed as Jake sighed, "Who was on the phone, Ashley?" He asked as Ashley whispered, "Tatiana, she said to stay away from you or she'll make me regret it."

Jake's jaw clenched as he heard that physio's name before slightly pulling away from Ashley to face her, "To be honest, Ashley, I don't think either one of them is going to do anything, I think they are threatening us to scare us," Jake said as Ashley stared into his eyes with wonder, "You think so?" She asked ever so innocently causing Jake to smile, "Yes, so you don't need to worry, besides I'll protect you," he said as Ashley smiled, "I like you, Jake," she confessed as Jake laughed.

"I like you too, Ashley," he said leaning down to capture her lips with his. They both kissed each other with such love and passion that they had no choice but to separate for their sake of breathing. 

They both smiled at each other as JAke caress her cheek, "How about we go watch a movie?" Jake asked as Ashley shook her head, "Not before I take a shower," she said as Jake smirked, "How about I join you?" He asked as Ashley blushed while pulling away from him, "Are you crazy?" She softly asked as Jake chuckled, "What, it's not like you haven't seen me naked," he joked as Ashley turned red in the face, "Whatever, Jake," she said before running up the stairs as Jake's laughter echoed in the kitchen.
