Clara pushed away her chair and got up, “Ethan, I’ll get off work early in the afternoon and wait for you in the underground garage.”

“Don’t overthink things. If I were Mrs. Preston, I would be relaxing at home being served by servants. Would I exhaust myself coming here to work?”
