Love Me Right novel Chapter 12

Spencer’s “fake goodness” pissed Samuel off.

He stopped Spencer and slapped her face.

He glared her down. “Screw you, Spencer. Never shall I marry you.”

“I’ll be engaged with Charlotte. Don’t you dare step into Lam family.”

“You’re the last person I want to see in the world.”

Then he walked away quickly, leaving Charlotte aside.

Samuel was furious and disappointed.

He couldn’t believe that pretty as Spencer was, she could be so mean.

Why did Spencer have to step over Charlotte, who was so humble and nice.

Looking at Samuel’s back, Spencer’s thoughts flashed back to the day when grandpa decided on her engagement with Samuel.

At that time grandpa was still alive.

Grandpa and Samuel’s grandpa were best friends, both business and personal life.

Grandpa once told her that he was afraid she would be bullied by Taylor or others in Sharp family, and he wanted to appoint Samuel as her husband to protect her.

She didn’t think she needed Samuel’s protection, but she was willing to accept any arrangements from grandpa, who loved her so much.

After grandpa passed away, Charlotte told her Samuel was a lady killer and play boy who dated many girls at the same time. He even associated with mafia gang members.

That’s why she wanted to cancel the engagement with him.

The moment Charlotte told her Samuel was in Wonfo Hotel, she rushed to find him to cancel their engagement.

Spencer couldn’t stop but to taunt herself for being stupid enough to be at the mercy of Charlotte.

It turned out Samuel wasn’t a dandy prick.

Instead, she believed he could be a good boyfriend.

Shame on Samuel, who was fooled by Charlotte like she used to be.

She had no idea why he would engage with Charlotte, but she knew the credit should be given to her sister’s dirty tricks.

He must think she was a mean girl.

“You make me sick. Get out of here and stay the fucking away from Lam family.”

Losing sight of Samuel, Charlotte immediately changed her expression.

With her chin up, she warned Spencer, her eyes full of disgust.

“Don’t you ever try to seduce him. He’ll never love you. All you have to do is stay away from my fiancé.”

Spencer clenched her fists. The disgusting tone was more annoying when she heard it face-to-face than she heard it in the video.

When she was about to walk away, they didn’t allow.

Now they wanted to chase her away. Did they take her as a coward?

Although her face got hurt when her lips moved, she flashed a sneer at Charlotte.

“My sis, calm down. There’s no worrying since you both are about to get engaged. Or…he doesn’t love you? Is it your one-sided love all the time?”

Spencer saw her through, and Charlotte’s face was twisted with jealousy. She said through gritted teeth, “Spencer, don’t you know that I’ve hated you?”

“I also hate grandpa, because he only loved you.”

“But I was his granddaughter. Ever since you came to our family, he’s treated you better than me. But why? You are not born by my mom. You’re nobody but a bitch without your parents. Why did he only love you?”

“He had given you everything nice, even a perfect fiancé. After his death, you could also inherit his legacy.”

Charlotte was being hysterical as she tried to unleash all her fury and resentment.

Spencer almost couldn’t recognize her as she was no gentle lady as usual.

“If it hadn’t been you, grandpa would have only cherished me. I’m the only legal heiress to inherit all his legacy.”

How funny! Spencer was proud of her sister who had hated her all this time.

Not to mention her uncle and aunt. All of them were liars.

Spencer was too heartbroken to breathe.

But she didn’t want to expose her vulnerability to Charlotte.

“Save it. You just want me to stay away from your dear Samuel, don’t you?”

Charlotte snorted. Spencer was right.

Spencer continued, “You don’t believe yourself, right? You’re afraid that I’ll grab your fiancé away, aren’t you?”

She successfully pissed Charlotte off.

Charlotte exerted all her strength to slap Spencer’s pretty face.

“Bang!”

Spencer was slapped and she stumbled backward, her mouth full of blood.

Why did people from Sharp family love to slap other’s face?

Her red swollen face was getting worse.

The searing pain almost killed her.

“This is my warn. You’d better bear it in mind.”

“Indeed. You’re more beautiful than me. So, whatever? Look at you now, ugly with a swollen face. Does it hurt? If you ever mess up with us, a smack will be the best thing you beg for.”

There was evil dancing behind Charlotte’s charming eyes which were fixed on Spencer’s pretty face.

She had to admit that Spencer was really beautiful. Spencer was born with beauty.

Spencer never did a make-up, but she always looked gorgeous.

It’s one of the reasons whyCharlotte hated her.

But now Spencer’s face was red and swollen.

Which made Charlotte feel good.

Spencer left the mansion with her luggage, indicating she had been kicked out of her family by her parents.

Charlotte was exhilarated as she realized that Spencer would be absent from her life.

She would marry Samuel and became a Mrs. Lam, living a carefree life.

Laughing on the inside, she waved at Spencer.

“Just stay out of my family forever.”

Spencer sneered and quietly screamed as her face hurt.

Charlotte laughed smugly as she saw Spencer hurt.

Spencer couldn’t touch her face, but she could glare at Charlotte.

As long as they were there, she wouldn’t go back to the family, but she would make sure to take back what grandpa had left for her.

She wouldn’t allow them to ruin grandpa’s business.

Over and over again, Charlotte warned her to stay away from Samuel, which meant Charlotte was self-abased. She was being a coward.

She purposely sighed and whined, “I didn’t want to show up in your face, but as you can see, the way your fiancé stare at me was way too intense, filled with desire. I’m afraid he’d come to me someday and take me to Sharp family, forcing me to marry him as the daughter of Sharp family.”

Charlotte was shocked as she knew the way Samuel looked at Spencer, jeopardizing her situation.

But she immediately denied, “Nonsense!”

Spencer said disappointedly, “No, it may not be.”

Charlotte let out a sigh of relief and snorted, “That’s your own daydream.”

“Maybe. But given his stare, I don’t think he’d turn me down if I try to seduce him. Once I get him, I’ll make him to dump you.”

“Don’t you believe I could actually make it? Trust me. He’d be in the palm of my hand.”

Charlotte was scared by her words.

She was getting worried as she thought Spencer might be right.

Before Spencer could continue, out of fury and fear, Charlotte lifted her hand, trying to slap Spencer’s face again.

Spencer quickly held her hand to stop her, throwing her hand away.

Charlotte stumbled backward.

Spencer was so exasperated that she moved over to push her.

Her eyes were filled with warning. “Don’t you ever slap my face again. We are done, and you won’t get a chance to set me up.”

Spencer held her head up, looking at the mansion she had lived for over ten years.

She made up her mind to take back what grandpa had left for her.

Especially the mansion. She’d drive them out of the mansion.

She’d return all the smacks she had today, with multiple strength.

She leveled Charlotte with an unassuming look, holding her head high, and walked away with her pink plastic suitcase.

For a slit second, Charlotte was dumbfounded.

She couldn’t believe good girl Spencer could push her.

And threatened her?

“Just a bitch who’s been raped. What a piece of filth!”

Charlotte went toward her home as she said with distain.

Spencer walked without any purpose as she didn’t know where to go.

She’d better find a place to dwell in.

She held out her hand to reach for her handbag as usual, only to find it missing.

Suddenly, her memory dawned on her.

She left her handbag in the hotel.

Damn it! Now she only carried her cellphone with her.

It was cloudy. The black clouds screamed their intent to release angry rain.

Spencer didn’t find it until it was all over her and her phone screen.

She rushed away with her luggage.

She remembered there was a small pavilion ahead, which could shelter her from the rain.
