The next day, I washed up and decided to go on my job of taking Leo to school and I must say, I loved being around that kid. He seemed to be an adult sometimes and a boy in the other moment. I got to the house and different scents entered my nostrils and surprisingly, I smelt that of a werewolf too. But then it seemed to be one of a cub, it was a small boy, I entered the house surprised and confused. Then I saw Leo sitting on her mother's laps, she watched him with worry on her face and I heard her comfort him,

“It's okay, you are going to be okay, did it hurt?”

He nodded and then suddenly looked my way, his mother also looked my way and they both smiled, it affected me so I smiled back to then nervously. Her smile affected me so bad that the rise I had done all I could to the previous night to calm it down came back to taunt me.

I walked closer to them doing all I could to hide the bulge and Leo got up from her mother and came closer to me, he opened his arms and I picked him up. Then as soon as he came into contact with me, he put his head on my shoulders and just like that, our hearts started beating at the same pace. And then again my wolf was joyfully howling inside of me at the contact of our eyes.
