One Night Stand novel Chapter 32

Sandra's POV

Sandra pulled up to the villa and ran inside, screaming out to her mother,

"Mother."

She was suddenly terrified, like a crazed lunatic, that she had finally lost Javier. Is Javier abandoning me? She went insane over the prospect of not inheriting Grandma Felicia's home. Because Javier's estate was a no-go zone, she had always envied the mansion for her family. Sandra knew that no one would challenge her to marry Javier, love or no love. Because she was the wife of a magnate, she could have any gig she wanted in the entertainment world, but her options were suddenly restricted because he had a kid. "We are not yet married, and I may change my mind at any moment," she reflected on Javier's words. Sandra went insane. She was not going to let another woman take Javier, son or no son. Her mother bolted out the front door.

"What's the matter?"

"Mother," she wailed, taking her mother's hand in hers. They entered the mansion. Sandra took a seat, still clutching her mother's hand. Mother, I have to tell you the truth about Javier and me. I'm doing this because I'm about to lose him to someone I've never met." Sandra's mother couldn't believe there was a beauty who was more beautiful than her daughter. She stroked her daughter's cheek and inquired.

"How long has it been like this?" She didn't take her hand off the cupping she was giving her daughter.

"It's been around 6 years."

"6 years and you are just informing me now."

"Mother," I expected things to improve between us, but they're just getting worse. Worse. I'm not sure what game Javier Hills is playing at the moment. Why did he propose to me, Mother? For over five years, Javier and I haven't shared a bed."
