Please Let Me Go novel Chapter 97

"Bitch, go to hell!"

After saying that, Clarissa pinched Adelaide's neck even harder. Adelaide’s face was so red because of short of breath. It was obvious that Clarissa hated Adelaide’s guts. At this time, when a passer-by saw clearly the woman who was lying down, he immediately rushed up to pull Clarissa up.

"Let go. Let me go. I am going to kill that bitch!"

After putting her hands behind her back, the man forcibly pulled Clarissa up. Clarissa still kicked Adelaide. She was almost able to kill Adelaide!

Adelaide got freedom. She breathed the air greedily and patted her chest in shock. The man asked, "Do you want to call the police?" She suddenly realized the man who was speaking saved her. Then she got up and patted the dust on her back. She looked up at the man but found that she actually knew him.

"No, thanks!" She was taken aback for a moment, then she blushed.

The man let go of Clarissa's hand. But Clarissa still wanted to pounce to Adelaide. The man grabbed Clarissa’s arm. For a moment, she couldn't move. Knowing that she could not beat the man in front of her, she thought Adelaide was lucky again. Clarissa yelled with some hatred, "Bitch, this is not over!"

The man smiled faintly. He held Clarissa's arms tighter and tighter silently until Clarissa shouted out in pain. He still didn’t let her go, "Although I have never hit women, I don’t mind beating you up for helping others. Do you want to try?"

The strength of the men made Clarissa sweat on her forehead. She couldn't beat the person in front of her and it seemed that this person was planning to protect Adelaide.

Seeing Clarissa’s fear, Adelaide smiled and said to the man, "Forget it, let her go!" She could understand why Clarissa did this to her. Adelaide did not forget what she had done.

On the way here, she just wanted to see how Clarissa was dumped by Antonio. She had guessed that if Clarissa saw her, Carissa would definitely rush to her and vent the anger on her. Adelaide had guessed everything a long time ago, but she didn't expect that Clarissa hated her to such a point that Clarissa wanted to strangle her to death.

The man let go of Clarissa and raised his hand quietly. Seeing the man’s action, Clarissa glared at Adelaide viciously and then left angrily.

"Are you okay?"

The man asked with concern.

Adelaide nodded. She smiled and stretched out her hand, "Long time no see, Dr. Calvin!"

The man in a white shirt and tie was Adelaide's shrink, Calvin. Ever since she could talk with others, she had had fewer and fewer opportunities to see Calvin. She didn't expect that she would meet him downstairs in the Baron Group by chance today. Besides, he helped her again.

When Adelaide thought about this, she blushed with her head down.

Calvin was taken aback, and then stretched out his hand, "Well, how are you doing recently?"

The two of them were like old friends who hadn’t seen for many years. Soon, they talked closely. Adelaide didn’t like to say too much in daily life. But as a shrink, Calvin really had some irresistible and unique charm. After a while, Adelaide told him her recent situation.

It also included why Clarissa was so angry just now!

Calvin listened quietly to her speaking her life these days. Sometimes, he would occasionally answer her with some words, such as "Ah! Uh! Wow! Well! Alright!".

After saying so much, Adelaide felt refreshed at this moment, as if all the depressions that had been brought about by the past few days were gone. She whispered, "Have I gone too far? If you knew these in advance, would you still help me?"
