President Williams Woos His Ex-wife Again novel Chapter 16

Aaron threw a glance at her, replying in an offish tone,” Secret? What's it?”

He did be interested in her secret.

Beth raised her head desperately and asked tearfully, “Aaron, do you remember… the cherry orchard of Taylor Town? Do you remember... I've said that you were the best boy I ever met? And you said you'll recognize me as soon as you meet me again. “

That boy was her forever obsession. She could no longer stand the darkness anymore once she had ever seen the light and knew how nice and warm it was. So there was no room in her heart for anyone else. But now, her beloved boy was going to take her corneas for Kathy. How ironic it was!

Aaron remained indifferent without any reaction.

“Take her away!”

He was so cold that he never thought to answer her question.

But Beth thought it was a signal that he didn't remember it.

He didn't remember it at all...

The good memories that she cherished was forgotten by him.

Slowly, her face was covered with tears. Her heart was ripped up by his words and her body was shaking in pain.

She said to herself, “Beth, just give up. He didn't want you!”

No matter how she struggled, Beth was forcibly taken to the hospital.

Dora tended to wait a few more days.

But Aaron said, “I don't want to leave it too long. Do the surgeries for her and Kathy today!”

Beth's heart was broken into pieces by his words.

Kathy was the only one he loved, not her. Because of Kathy, he never pitied her.

Beth was locked in the ward next to Kathy's to wait for the surgery.

Kathy's face was badly hurt, wrapped with gauze. Her eyes were released without animation.

Aaron consoled her, “I have brought her to the ward next yours. Don't worry. You'll have the surgery soon.”

“Aaron, I don't want Beth's eyes. Although she pushed me, it is bad to do it to her. She will be grieved.” Kathy said delicately.

Aaron looked at her lovingly, “Don't think so much. She deserves it.”

“Aaron, I want to have a look at her. I'd rather remain blind if she doesn't want to do it.”

Of course Aaron would do what Kathy asked for. Aaron helped Kathy into the next ward. The moment he opened the door, a bottle was smashed toward them.

“Aaron Williams, get out of here!” Beth roared with ruffled hair. She got more angry at the sight of Kathy. She would have rushed to her if Aaron were not here.

“Aaron, leave us alone. I have something to talk to Beth. I'll call you if I need.” Kathy said.

Aaron was afraid that Beth would hurt Kathy. He didn't want to go out.

“Beth, if you dare to do hurt Kathy, I'll let you die on the operating table!”

After threatening her, Aaron went out worriedly.

As soon as the door was closed, Kathy walked straight to Beth.

She also avoided the pieces on the ground easily, just like a healthy person.

As she sat down, Beth realized she was not blind.

“Beth, why are you looking at me like that? I'm the one who pretends to be blind, not you. Don't be so shocked. You should have known me well. After all, we have fought for years.” Kathy spoke slowly with a fierce look on her face.

Kathy's face being pale, her heart was blazing with hatred.

“Kathy, I knew you were faking it! Why did you do that?”

Although her look was covered by gauze, her eyes were full of anger that she couldn't help but to shake.

“Why? You dare to ask me why? You know what? I'll take your cornea out of your eyes, so that you can't see anything when you're dying! You disfigured me! You have to pay for this!”

Beth sneered, “You're the cheeky devil! You were disfigured by God. That's what exactly you deserve!”
