President Williams Woos His Ex-wife Again novel Chapter 53

Jacky?

Hearing Jacky’s name, Beth's heart came to an abrupt halt.

She screamed, “Aaron, what are you going to do? What are you doing to my brother?”

Aaron never looked at her but turned around and stared towards the direction of the cliff.

Jacky, who had just had a surgery on his leg, was knocked over by two strong guys. His face was even more pale and dismal than Beth.

Because Jacky finally realized…

He got misled by Kathy again.

Kathy lied to him to lure away Mrs. Johnson who had amnesia, only to put it all on him and Beth.

Why was he so stupid?

“Jacky, you disappointed me.” Kathy replied stiffly, “Even though I didn't grow up with you since I was a kid, I am your sister. How can you listen to Beth's words and mislead mom here to intimidate me? Am I still your sister?”

Kathy's shoulders shook as she spoke, and her face darkened to the extreme in an instant, as if she were devastated.

Jacky was filled with anger, and his eyes widened. “Aaron, don't believe her. She is lying. She threatened me with my sister's eyes to help her get Mrs. Johnson here. She asked me to do all this. It was her.”

Jacky started to breathe hard as he talked, appearing as if he was ready to faint.

Beth understood what was going on in an instant and stared at Kathy with a furious and icy glare.

It turned out that Kathy really lied to Jacky.

Here was the crux!

Kathy feigned to be struck hard and pressed her chest painfully. “Jacky, how can you do this to me? Do you hate me that much? But the same blood is circulating through our bodies.”

“Aaron already knows all this. Please apologize to Aaron, say that you don't know anything, Beth forced you to do it! Please apologize immediately! You are my brother. As long as you can make it clear that all this has nothing to do with you, I will not hold you responsible.”

With that stated, Kathy also made a very nice face, making people believe that what she said was genuine.

Actually, was it?

Seeing that Kathy could not breathe, Aaron quickly went up, patted her on the back gently to help her breathe.

After experiencing the stress on the front line of life and death just now, Aaron cared so much about her.

“Kathy, don't be so excited anymore.” Aaron's stare flashed over Jacky, frigid as a dagger.

“You know, some people are just ungrateful.”

“Aaron...”

“Don't do this. No matter how Jacky treats me, he is always my brother in my heart. I can't see him fall into a wrong path. He is a nice kid.” Kathy's large eyes were full of tears. Her tears were streaming down, soaking her tiny face.

With such a contrast, Aaron accepted Kathy's words much more, and his impression of Beth was considerably worse.

He even believed Kathy's words.

It was because he forced Beth to sign the divorce paper, so Beth intended to avenge against him and Kathy, so that she used Mrs. Johnson to compel Kathy to jump off the cliff.

When he thought about this, Aaron's eyes were very chilly and crimson.

Aaron embraced Kathy who was weeping bitterly, and stated awe-inspiringly, “Jacky, if you don't confess it and don't explain properly, I will let you die in the same way!”
