Reborn Through Fire (Kisa and Gilbert) novel Chapter 283

Chapter 283 A Strange Coincidence

After a week of resting at home, Kisa received a notice from the set to arrive at 8am sharp. As Ariella’s assistant, she had traveled from set to set, but this was the first time she had ever been on set as a female lead. She was so excited that day that she got up early.

Equally excited was Lea, who was up ten minutes earlier than Kisa. The two of them swiftly freshened up and went out in a whirlwind, not even bothering to take their breakfast.

Jensen was leaning against the door and watching them with amusement. “It is just a film set, not a job interview. What is the hurry? It is still one hour before eight. Come back in and have breakfast.”

“No. It is my first day on set. I would rather be early than late,” Kisa said with gusto, her eyes glowing.

Jensen had a moment of fascination, as the woman in front of him seemed to be back in her youth, full of smiles and vigor. He stopped her again when he saw she was in a hurry to leave. When he came out of the house again, he had two boxes of breakfasts in his hands. He handed them to Lea and smiled at Kisa. “I still have to plan your subsequent shooting and film contracts, so I won’t go to the set today.”

“It is alright. I will be fine with Lea with me.”

Jensen looked at Lea again. “Take good care of her for me.”

“Don’t worry, I will.”

Jensen shook his head in amusement as he watched

the two of them hurriedly enter the elevator. They were like young girls who had just graduated; excited, nervous, energetic.

But when Kisa arrived on the set, her good mood turned bad. It turned out that on the set, besides their crew, there was another crew, which she could not be more familiar with. It was the crew of Goddess of My Adoration. This was really a strange coincidence, as The Legend of Luna and Sharon’s Goddess of My Adoration were actually filmed on the same day and in the same location. She was no longer at the mercy of Sharon’s bullying, but she still did not feel like wanting to see that vicious woman.

Kisa arrived at the set more than half an hour early, but the lead actor had not yet arrived. So she had to wait. Since the news of her founding the J & K Film Group had already been made public, most of the people on the set respected her, except for the director, Sharon, and her gang.

The director was a well-known figure in the industry and known for his eccentricities. The reason he was willing to direct The Legend of Luna was also because of Kohen, who had a powerful influence in the

industry.

“Look! Is this Kisa?”

A familiar voice came with an unfamiliar laughter at this moment. Kisa turned to look and saw Ariella coming over with a flattering smile. No wonder she found this laughter unfamiliar-Ariella had ever laughed at her like this.

“Kisa, I really didn’t expect you to make it to this role. I was blind and didn’t know who you really were. I apologize if I have offended you last time.”

“No, no,” Kisa said with a smile. “I should thank you for taking care of me last time. Otherwise, I would have been sleeping on the streets.”

“Oh, come on, Kisa. You deserve the praises. You are now the CEO of the J & K Film Group. I should call you Miss CEO instead.”

“Just call me Kisa.” She actually did not hate Ariella, who might be bossy, but she was not a bad person. Seeing Ariella reminded her of the contract between them.

“Right, Ariella. When I was your assistant, I missed work repeatedly. Now, I’m even doing something else. I will pay you the 100-million-dollar compensation for breach of contract later.”

Ariella shook her head vigorously.

“It is alright. Someone has already paid me that breach-of-contract money.”
