Chapter 241 A Gloomy Day

Kelvin quickly hissed and looked to the corner.

Amidst the darkness, Gilbert looked at Kelvin with heavy eyes. “Did you just say…Kisa is going to the farm for a vacation with the Case family?”

Kelvin nodded blankly.

Gilbert had been gloomy the whole day. Kelvin did not dare to talk to him.

Gilbert placed his glass on the table and came out from the corner.

The atmosphere in the room immediately turned heavy. 1

Gilbert asked carefully, “Is Jensen going too?”

“Errrr…” Kelvin thought for a while and replied, “I don’t think he’s going. The Case family had never mentioned about him.”

It was only then did Gilbert relaxed himself.

Gilbert turned around, sat down on the sofa and continued drinking.

The corner Gilbert was sitting at was the perfect spot. Everyone could ignore him. They could drink, eat, laugh and chit chat freely.

Now that he has moved to the center, they did not dare to chat more as the tense atmosphere persisted.

Kelvin looked to the heavens and quietly thought, ‘I’m never inviting this guy over for any drinking sessions again.‘

Kisa wore a floral dress and put on some light makeup. She looked clean and lovely.

Jensen felt a little worried when he sent her off, “What if I go with you?”

Kisa shook her head, “I’m worried they’ll suspect something if you follow. If I go alone, they’ll assume that I’m still the old Kisa who isn’t brave.”

Jensen sighed, “Alright then. Please be careful. Call me if anything happens.”

When Kisa reached the Case family’s house, Carolyn and Sharon were ready.

Kelvin and Gracie were there too.

Gracie was shocked when she saw Kisa.

Gracie smiled at her and said, “Kisa, you’ve really changed a lot.”

“Yeah. After I recovered, I gained a bit of weight. I feel a lot healthier than before.”

“That’s amazing!” Gracie still had the same sweet smile.

Then, Gracie added, “Kelvin and I wanted to go to the farm on our own. But Carolyn insisted that we come over here so it’s easier for us to meet up. You know, in case we got lost on the

way there.”

“Yeah, I feel the same as well.”

Although Kisa replied as such, deep down she was sneering.

Carolyn’s plan was for Anthony to ‘kidnap‘ everyone. Of course, she would not allow them to drive to the farm on their own.

The driver drove an extended MPV.

Carolyn and Sharon shared the same row; Kelvin and Gracie sat on the second row while Kisa sat alone in the last row.

It seemed like Gracie was eager to chat with Kisa. The journey had just started but Gracie had already moved to the last row and sat with Kisa. This made Kelvin roll his eyes.

“Kisa, you…”

“You don’t have to be so formal when talking to me,” interrupted Kisa.

Gracie loosened up and replied happily, “Kisa, I’m really happy that you’ve fully recovered.” “Thanks!”

All of a sudden, Kisa was reminded that Jensen had kidnapped Kelvin for four months.

Kisa said, “Oh yeah, I hope you don’t take it to heart about the incident when Jensen kidnapped Kelvin. Actually, he wanted Kelvin to focus on treating me. If anyone, you should blame me instead.”

Gracie shook her head hurriedly, “Why would I blame any of you? I’m very happy that he could help you fully recover.”

“You’re really kind,” said Kisa, as her impression of Gracie as a nice person began to grow.

Gracie smiled shyly, “Right. When you were missing those four months, Gilbert was searching around crazily for you. I think he is still- AH!”
