Jensen glanced at the tapping device and chuckled. “Looks like Carolyn is pretty smart, too.”

“Of course she is smart. Otherwise, how else could she have gotten rid of my mother and taken Christopher by the horns?” Kisa tossed the tapping device into the trash.

Jensen frowned with worries. “So what do you do next to protect yourself from their trap?”

“I can’t, so I don’t have to. If they want to hurt me, they will have to see if they are still capable of it.”
