SnowMoon Healer novel Chapter 32

"Alpha, we are all set and ready for any attack. Alpha Eliot also and the rest of his pack are settling now to our guest house. How did you know there would be an attack?" Beta Jaxson.

"I'm just being careful. Until now we still don't know where that demon took Adellee and I don't want anything unexpected attack in our pack. It's good to be prepared."

I didn’t tell Jackson what I dreamed last night. It seems to be giving me a signal that there will be bad events that will occurs in the pack. Yesterday, I spoke to one of the oldest elders in our pack to ask help regarding vampires and how to deal with them. Luckily, she had known a witch from far away pack, she asked for help and today came the ones we need to destroy the vampires.

'Alpha! Intruder in the north border. ' Connor said in the pack link.

'Tell me the status?'

'We spot a group of Vampires in the border, as of now the border guards are blocking them but they can't hold them long because of their number.' Connor.

'I'll be there. Call the others and inform Alpha Elliot about what's happening now. They should be ready and tell them to go straight to our pack house.'

'Yes Alpha.'

"Jackson, make sure we have guards on the pack members. Even Alpha Elliot and some of his pack are here, we can't let them fight alone for our people."

"Yes Alpha, we're on it."

"Did you bring what the witch gave us?"

"I already distributed it to all our members and luckily, it's enough for Alpha Elliot's pack too."

"Good. Let's move now. We need to get information on Adellee's whereabouts. I need to save my mate."

“Yes, Alpha. We will do our best to find our Luna." Jaxson replied.

I could hardly believe what I saw when I got there. Almost half of my pack guarding the North border were dead and the rest were seriously wounded. I looked at the opponents side and I spotted someone, he looks calm and different from the others.

"Jaxson, help the others." Even though we set a trap almost one forth of the intruder was affected. The witch gave us potion to spread across the borders, it will help for us to track if there's a vampire in the pack. She also gave us instructions how to kill them. Either burn them or pull their heart out of their bodies.

"Finally! My rival in Adellee's heart." The man I was looking shouted.

Right there I almost lost my temper. This guy was the one who took my mate and raped her. He smirks at me like he sees what's in my mind.

"Don't look as if you can kill me dog, your wolf tried but he never fully succeeded."

My wolf growled inside of me. He's being furious and its hard for me to tame him much longer if he continue doing this.

"You demon! Where is Adellee? Where did you take my mate?"

"She's also my mate and she enjoys staying at me. Don't expect her to come back to you because that won't happen. She's mine and we will build our kingdom and family together."

"You're crazy, Adellee will never have a family with you. She loves me and only me. Maybe the God of death hates us so much for him to do this but even so she will not accept you as her mate." I shouted.

"Really? That's not what I hear in bed every time we have sex. She enjoys fucking me dog. And sooner or later, she will be pregnant with my child." He laughed evilly.

And then I lost it. I moved quickly to attack him. I need him dead. He can't get out of here alive. When I kill him, I will definitely find Adellee.

We circled each other but he still remains calm even though he is facing me. It was as if he wasn't scared or worried at all with my presence.

"If you think you can kill me, then go on. I have lived in this world for a long time and I have won many battles. I will never allow myself to die at your hands again." Lukas said.

"I'll do everything just to get you out of this world. Someone like you shouldn't be allowed to exist in this world. You're just made because of anger. The God of death doesn't care about you."

"You may be right, but because of my existence he let go of his anger to your beloved Moon Goddess. She should be the one you blame. They made you and Adellee a werewolf because she didn’t want to see her favorite creation disappear from this world. ”Lukas.

"If you did not killed Adellee's wolf before, there would have been no trouble today. You've been too arrogant and envious. That's what brought us into this situation."

Lukas moved quickly and grabbed me by the neck, I fought him and kicked him in the side. I grabbed him by the nape and threw him to the ground, he quickly got up and kicked me in the chest. He threw me into the tree but I bear the pain and I ran towards him, I grabbed his arm and kicked him in the face. We exchanged blows on different parts of our bodies until I remembered another potion given to me by the witch. He says I use it when I have close contact with the vampire. It will blind him for a period of time and it will give me advantage to kill him.

I threw the potion in his face and I saw his face burn because of it. I wasted no time and grabbed him by the neck to try to remove it but his nails digs into my flesh. I let go quickly and grab him by the neck to remove his heart when someone appears next to me.

A vampire hit me on the side and other two vampires come to rescue him. I fought them but because of their speed, Lukas immediately disappeared from my sight. I grab the vampire and twisted his neck. Its still alive but I can use him later. I saw the other vampires retreating and I signal my pack to not chase them.

"Jaxson, we have so many casualties right now. Go get them to our healer. Bring this guy to our interrogation room and don't let him escape. I need to get information from him later." I said,

"Yes, Alpha. By the way, Connor was wounded so bad, I already sent him to the clinic during the fight. We lost a lot of fighters too. We need to plan another tactics. They seems to know our moves well and one of them was our member before."

"What? who was it?"

"His name was Francis, he's one of our fighter that become missing few months ago. I don't know why he's with them but I think they got idea's from him." Jaxson explained.

"Let's talk later. Let us properly buried our pack members first and burn the vampires bodies now."

"Yes, Alpha."

I looked at the spot from which Lukas had fled. Soon the two of us will meet again and when that happens. I'll make sure that he dies.
