The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 184

Everyone in the private room was stunned.

David, who was still aggressive before, suddenly knelt down and knocked his head. This reversal really shocked them.

"This...what's the situation?" Sidney stared at David kneeling on the ground in shock.

"I don't know. Why is he like a different person after going out?" Melissa also asked suspiciously.

Seeing David kowtow at herself, Edith was really shocked. She didn't know what was going on. When thinking of Alexander's calm look just now, and he said that it would be fine, Edith thought he must know what was going on. So, she turned her head and glanced at Alexander.

"How is this going?"

Alexander handed his phone to Edith proudly and asked Edith to take a look at the chat between him and Casey.

After reading it, Edith understood what was going on. David went out just now, he must have seen Casey, so there would be such a big change after returning.

"Casey is really amazing. He has come to our Yutian County. He still has such a great ability to David kowtow to you and apologize," Alexander said with a smile.

Jaxon originally thought that David would get mad. However, after seeing this scene, there was a trace of doubt on his face.

He stared at David and asked tentatively, "Weren't you so arrogant just now? Why are you kneeling and kowtow now?"

David quickly turned his head to look at Jaxon, apologized and said, "Sir, I am sorry. I hit you just now. I'll apologize to you."

After speaking, David raised his hand severely and slapped himself several times.

He didn't know the one Casey cared about was just Edith. Edith was sitting with these people for dinner. Therefore, he thought these people were all Leonardo's friends, so he didn't dare to offend anyone.

Jaxon saw that David was actually apologizing, so he asked, "Did you see Leonardo when you went out just now?"

David immediately nodded and said, "Yes, I saw Leonardo and his friends. I really don't know that you and Leonardo are friends, especially this girl. I really know that I was wrong, so please forgive me."

David looked at Edith sincerely.

Jaxon didn't realize the meaning of David's words at all, but when he heard Leonardo coming, he immediately believed that Leonardo came to get even with David for him.

Edith stared at David. Fortunately, nothing happened today. Edith didn't want to do anything to David, so she said to David, "Okay, go out, don't do this in the future."

David immediately nodded, and after another kowtow to Edith, he hurriedly left the private room with his men.

Jaxon's suddenly became gloomy. He felt that David had become so polite because of him. Now that Edith looked so high, letting David leave, it undoubtedly robbed him of the limelight.

"Flora, these relatives in your family are really not polite. Obviously, David came to apologize to her because of me. I haven't spoken yet, she actually let David go. Doesn't she take herself too seriously?" Jaxon said coldly.

After Flora heard Jaxon's words, her eyes widened and asked, "You mean, Leonardo came to teach David a lesson because of you?"

"Otherwise, is anyone here who has something to do with Leonardo?" Jaxon said.

"But, didn't you not call Leonardo at that time?" Flora asked with some confusion.

Jaxon was a little embarrassed at once. He didn't know how Leonardo knew that he was here, but in his opinion, Leonardo came to get even with David only because of him. Apart from him, no one present knew Leonardo

"It must be Leonardo's man who saw me come in at that time. And Leonardo knew that David came here to make trouble. Therefore, Leonardo came to help us." Jaxon thought he had found a reasonable reason.

After listening to it, Flora felt it was reasonable, turned to look at Edith, and said, "Some people are so self-righteous. It is so ridiculous that they benefit from others but still take the credit for themselves."

Both Melissa and Sidney felt that Leonardo came to settle the matter because of Jaxon, and both stared at Edith contemptuously.

"Edith, you are too impolite. Last time you and Casey were not punished by Leonardo because of Jaxon. This time, you benefit because of Jaxon again. You actually made a decision for him. Don't you have to thank him this time?" Melissa also said.

Edith frowned immediately, not to mention who benefited. This incident had nothing to do with her. She was still a victim. Melissa was too much that she wanted her to apologize to Jaxon.

"Who said that the matter was settled because of him? Didn't you hear that the person said that it was Leonardo's friend? Is it possible that Leonardo's friend would also come over to help him settle?" Alexander said discontentedly.

"If it was because of Leonardo's friend, so what? Could it be that I can't recognize Leonardo's friend? Why did Leonardo's friend come to help us?" Jaxon gave Alexander a sneer.

Alexander curled his lips and said, "Did you not see that the person just kowtowed to Edith, and he had to focus on Edith, so it must be Casey who settled this matter."

When those sitting there heard Alexander's words, they were taken aback, and then they all laughed.

Flora glanced at Alexander like an idiot, and said, "Alexander, you are bewitched by Casey, aren't you? Why do you keep thinking about defending him now? Don't want to think whether Casey, that wimp, has qualifications to be friends with Leonardo. Don't quibble here."

Sidney and Melissa also looked at Alexander with a little dissatisfaction. They used to look down on Amara's family together. Now after Alexander went to J City, he actually started to defend Casey. They naturally felt that Alexander was ingrate and helped an outsider.
