Trapped with a Lawyer novel Chapter 171

Ella always drunk in social gatherings or dinner parties. She called out a man's name in Eden's ear when she got drunk.

This night was no exception.

Turning down the request of Mr. Mattson, CEO of a real-estate developer to have sex with him, Eden helped the wobbling woman and got her in the car.

They were near the apartment provided by the company. Eden wavered when he thought of Jane, who was alone at home. But Eden still asked the driver to go to that apartment.

When they arrived, it was 1 am.

Eden helped Ella out of the car. Immediately, Ella saw a man leaning against the door of an Aston Martin and standing under the street lamp not far away.

He smoked elegantly under the dim light, which made Ella think of Samuel, whose name she had kept mentioning all night.

She shook her head hard and grabbed Eden's ear, "Eden, as young as I am, why do I feel the need to wear reading glasses?"

Walking ten steps forward, Eden and the man looked into each other's eyes.

Eden reminded Ella nervously, "No, you don't need them. Ella, that is indeed your ex-husband."

His words instantly sobered her a bit.

Although she couldn't see the man's face, she was sure that it was Samuel, who was staring at her while smoking.

"Samuel!"

She trembled for only ten seconds. "Eden, let's go! I need to sleep now!"

Ordered the drunk woman, rubbing her head on Eden's shoulder.

Eden's heart thumped, wondering what was going on between them.

However, he didn't stop and turned towards her apartment.

Eden heard the sound of Samuel's footsteps behind him, and no more than five seconds, the woman slipped into Samuel's arms.

They proceeded to walk towards the apartment, making Eden stare in puzzlement. At last, he turned back and left because he felt he shouldn't intervene.

They went to the 13th floor.

Samuel propped Ella against himself, and took her right hand, close to the door lock.

The fingerprint lock matched her little finger and unlocked with a "ting" sound.

The simply furnished apartment might be her temporary shelter.

He knew it was not her usual residence. 'I'll find out where it is!' he thought.

The apartment consisted of three rooms, only one of which had bedding's laid.

He lifted her to his chest and put her down on the bed.

Then Ella mumbled, "Samuel? It seems like Samuel is in front of me? Ah, I must be dizzy. Is possible that bastard would come to me?" Hardly had Samuel taken off her red high-heels when she rolled on the bed and couldn't keep her eyes open.

Though she kept him waiting until 1 am, his efforts were not in vain.

Samuel took off his coat, hung it on the hanger, and then noticed that Ella wore a black slip dress which made her very sexy.

Since she rolled over, Samuel's eyes twinkled when he saw her messy dress.

He missed her so much but took no interest in a drunkard.

Ella rolled again and stared at that dangling man with her eyes half-opened, which were still with eyeliner.

"Hey, could you not wander round here? It makes me feel dizzy." She groaned, pouting her red lips and had no idea what she was saying.

In fact, he just stood still beside the bed, untying the buttons of his shirt.

After the last button, Samuel sat on the edge of the bed and gazed at the drunk woman.

"Ella" He called her name in his attractive and magnetic voice, while rubbing against her face with his hand.

She instantly answered, "Samuel? Is that you?"

Looking at her adorable face, he smiled, but immediately got pissed off by her following words.

"This isn't Samuel, that bastard. The scum must enjoy the night with other woman in his arms. Never mind! I'll sleep now." She yawned and closed her eyes.

In her mind, had Ella seen Samuel as a bastard or scum from the very beginning?

'That's fine! I'd better refrain from arguing with an intoxicated woman.' He thought to himself.

Samuel kissed her tenderly on the lips and was about to go to the bathroom.

But in the next moment, Ella 's arms were wrapped around his neck.

Ella opened her eyes again. She looked at the man in front of her drunkenly. "I must be day-dreaming!"

This was not the first time for her to dream of Samuel. But Samuel had showed up several times in her dream. She missed Samuel badly.

Ella pulled Samuel's neck and took the initiative to press a kiss on his lips.

She tasted of white wine and whiskey.

Samuel's eyes blazed with anger. Without him around, this little woman can be really wild!

Samuel kissed her red lips forcibly as a way to punish her. Ella felt the pain and tried to push him away whilst moaning.

"No! who is biting me? It hurts!"

Samuel wouldn't have put his hands on Ella, if Ella hadn't repeatedly teased and excited him.

He wasn't to blame! Samuel quickly got down to business.

Since Samuel hadn't seen Ella for a long time, he missed her terribly. The little bedroom was soon filled with passionate moanings.

It was four o'clock in the morning.

Samuel was woken up by the movement of Ella in his arms.

Her body rubbed against Samuel's, making him breath heavy.

However, there was something wrong!

Samuel put on the bedside lamp and saw that Ella had closed her eyes tightly, her face turning pale with tiny beads of sweat on her forehead. Her whole body curled up and nestled in his arms.

"What's wrong?" Samuel sat up in bed, the thin quilt sliding down, revealing his muscular chest.

Ella put her hands on her stomach, "It hurts..."

Samuel began to feel anxious, nestling her upper body in his arms. "Where is the pain?"

"…… belly." Ella said in a confused state. It felt good to have the one you love by your side and care for you.

Samuel did not know what Ella was thinking about. He quickly got out of bed and dressed up. He also dressed Ella up.

Ella was carried out of the apartment horizontally.

At that time, there was not a man outside. Samuel put her on the back seat of his Aston Martin and rushed to the hospital.

When they arrived

Outside the emergency department, a blonde-haired male doctor talked about Ella's condition with Samuel in English.

"An irregular eating habit, in combination with frequent drinking, caused the patient to suffer gastritis. She needs to pay attention to her diet and drink less in case her condition gets worse."
