Crash-landed On An Island With Nine Beauties novel Chapter 90

"What do you think those bitches are up to?"

Allison broke the silence. The girls were in the living room. They had nothing precisely going on. They were all seated, looking from one person to another. Much of what they had been doing for the past few days. Quite a vocation huh?

"What does it matter. Why should we care about them. Shouldn't we worry about ourselves?"

Jada snapped. It was very obvious that majority of the girls didn't feel obligated to anyone. Things already changed. But some people still haven't adapted.

"Watch your mouth when you talk to me."

Allison glared at Jada who rolled her eyes, scoffing.

"That wench."

Allison gritted her teeth, almost ruining her beautiful face.

"Jada has a point, we can't keep getting worried about the three when we are doing nothing precisely. That's just dumb."

Mira found her words.

"What do you suggest we do then, miss know-all?"

That was Tendzel attacking for no reason.

"We shouldn't act like we are uncouth. We are of the BMX group. We used to have our lives and do whatever we wanted. Shouldn't we be thinking of a way forward? Probably find a way to leave this island. We can't stay here forever. If some of you have decided to remain her forever... I don't think I'm in on that."

Everyone was in mouth agape. Guess who had just given an epistle. Evelyn.

"Woah... the cry baby has something in her head?"

Tendzel trolled.

"What do you think? That everyone is as dumb as you? That everyone pretend to be rash and illogical because their lips chose to move whenever they feel the urge?"

Further shock almost sizzled Tendzel's face. She couldn't believe both her eyes and ears.

"Is this really Evelyn or is there an imposter somewhere?"

Lisa asked the question which majority of the girls would had paid to ask.

"Let's get this over with, I have something else to do."

Evelyn rolled her eyes. The girls looked from one person to the other. Even Allison was swept off her feet.

"Are we really going to keep looking at each other?"

Evelyn got up on her feet.

"I'm sorry, like I said, I have so many things to do today!"

She walked away from them to her room. She picked up her crossbow and walked back into the sitting room.

"I will be back soon."

She announced, then slowly took Jada in her gaze. Her eyes squinted,

"Better watch your back."

She warned then walked away, out of the castle. The girls had their eyes glued on her. Jada's face was a mess of confusion. Her eyes bulging heavily at their sockets.

"Wahh... I had goosebumps just watching her."

"Wait... somebody wake me up, is something wrong with my eyes? Or my brain?"

"No, that can't be Evelyn. No way it's her."

"Better watch your back..."

Lisa repeated those words then shrugged,

"Wow... that was so cool. Evelyn was so cool."

"Maybe I should follow her."

Mira volunteered.

"She has a Crossbow. You'd better watch your back."

Lisa teased and few people bursted out laughing.

Evelyn was walking through the woods. She kept on going, briskly but carefully. Occasionally she would look at her back whether or not someone was behind her.

Eventually, she got to a cave. The cave where Lisa and Claire used to live in. She looked at her back again to be sure that she wasn't being followed.

She walked into the cave when she was sure enough. The inside of the cave wasn't too big. It was dry and hard. The wall seemed to make its own heat. It was quite a natural mystery.

She walked from one end of the cave to the other. It seemed as though she was looking for something. She jumped on a rock and looked around, then took a risk of going flat on her chest in prostration.

You'd think that she was looking for a pin or other tiny objects you could ever think of her.

"I left her here. Where did she go? She didn't wander off, did she?"

She shook her head, jumping off the rock.

"There is no way she isn't keeping her secret. She told me that she would always be true to her words."

She walked out of the cave.

"How could she do this? I'll slap her to death when I find her."

She stood at the mouth of the cave for a while.

"She would meet hell when she returns."

Her face had housed a rich glare as she looked from her right to left. After a while she walked to the side of the cave,

"Or could she be somewhere around here?"

There was a thick and dense growth of shrubs at that corner of the cave, the other side was no different.

She decided to walk further away from the cave, in her mouth was,

"I'm sure that she couldn't had gone so far."

Suddenly she heard a movement in the woods.

"Who is that?"

She put her Crossbow to her shoulder, looking keenly... observing whether or not she would see something. Her eyes became narrow, as she plunged her vision into the distance.

"Come out now if you want to live."

She threatened. The movement came again. She could hardly see through. The shrubs were way too thick to give her eyes some hint.

She gulped. Her hands were trembling.

"Come out now when I'm trying to be nice."

She steadied her hand, and pulled at the arrow. It was just a matter of time. She needed a clue... just a mistake from whatever it was and she'd let the arrow off.

She heard a thud behind her and she flinched. She looked.

"Oh fuck! You will kill me!!"

She heaved a heavy sigh, clutching her hand to her breasts as she dropped the crossbow.

~ what happened? did you hear something? ~

The white wolf approached her.

"Go away. How could you keep me worried?"

She turned away from the wolf and stomped towards the cave.

~ there goes the temper again. ~

~ wait for me... I'm sorry ~

The wolf followed her. She halted at the mouth of the cave and the wolf caught up.

"Okay fine. You know I can't be mad at you. You are my best friend and confidant ever since Damien. But promise you won't make me worried again."

The wolf didn't reply, but obviously she got it.

~ did you miss me? ~

"I guess. I have a gist for you. I almost peed by pants today. But thanks to you, I was able to stand up to them."

~ good for you. that's my girl. ~

She chuckled at his compliment.

"But I hope they won't stand up to me and ---"

The words faded as they walked into the cave. A disguised youth walked out of his hide,

"Uhmm... Evelyn lives alone? Beautiful."

He turned around and zoomed off.
