Extremely angry, she suddenly laughed, "This is the first time I realised that Canon is quite handsome... He also has a good temperament. It's impossible for me to ignore him, unless I'm not a woman. It should be rather cool to have him send me to work.

Hearing that, Christian said casually, "His girlfriend is now studying abroad, so you don't daydream about it."

The smile on Isabella's face froze, then she clenched her teeth and said, "Get lost!"

Hanging up the phone, she was so angry that she couldn't even breathe normally. 

Canon opened the car door respectfully, "Miss Jones, please."

He didn't look that much younger than her, so he may have a girlfriend.

Isabella bit her lower lip. She then got into the car.

Canon heaved a sigh of relief in his heart and closed the car door.

The car stopped not far below the Benton's building.

"Miss Jones, for the sake of avoiding suspicion, I won't get down with you. I'll stay here and you can come over directly after work."

Isabella asked in surprise: "After work? You're not going to wait for this day, are you?"

"No worries, this is just my daily job. Even if I were to do other missions, I'd wait for the most of the time."

Isabella frowned. She handed over some money and coldly said: "I don't care what work you're doing. This is the fare this time. I won't take your car again. Wait as you wish."

After that, she got off, slammed the door shut and walked towards the office building.

Seeing her, the two receptionists greeted familiarly, "Good morning, Miss Jones."

"Morning." Isabella replied faintly.

Startled, the two girls asked with concern: "Miss Jones, you don't look so well. Are you sick?"

"I'm fine. I probably just didn't sleep well." Isabella laughed and went to her department.

She went angry this early morning, no wonder she was not in a good mood.

In the morning, after handling the urgent matters at hand, Isabella booked a long-distance bus ticket to Liverpool and took a day off. She then left the company.
